Martin Lawrence is probably best known for either his stand-up or his self-titled television show that set the standard of sitcoms in a number of ways. We all watch the reruns and quote the episodes, reference characters, and still wonder if Tommy has a job or not. The greatest movies that most would mention are his roles in House Party & House Party 2 as Bilal the funky breath having DJ (umm... why wasn't he in the 3rd one??) he was in the Bad Boys trilogy (Bad boys, bad boys, whatcha gonna do? Whacha gonna do when they come for you??),  and Life (Why somebody gotta die to get some pie?!!!!). 

Let's separate those roles and take into his lead roles. Not co-starring roles. The ones where he is the main character.  Off the top of my head, I can name Big Momma's House (the first one, the other two were pure trash)  and Blue Streak. Both movies I've seen a number of times and I can almost quote word for word.  Big Momma's House is more of a family movie and Blue Streak is more heist, borderline buddy cop movie. Although Lawrence plays a cop in both which is your favorite? Do you think Martin has other movies where he plays a lead role that is better? Do you prefer a movie that he is the co-star rather than a lead?  Maybe i didn't mention some of your favored Martin Lawrence movies or television roles...
