Dear Microphone.
I miss you. It has only been a few weeks since I felt you, touched you, spoke to you but it feels like I‘ve been away for years. I deeply, deeply miss you. I never realized how much impact you had on me till today where I‘ve found myself reminiscing on all the best moments that we have shared over the years.
Do you remember the first day we met when you chose me to speak through you to the rest of the world? Do you remember how shy I was and scared I was to express all these emotions and yet you guided me and showed me the way, and since then even in my sleep words to you roll off my tongue so easily and effortlessly, you are amazing.
I remember how you taught me what to say and how to say it, how you showed me that speaking through you was a huge responsibility and I needed to plan and be sure before I said anything to the world. I remember spending hours with you before we went on our airwaves escapades, just to share ideas, thoughts and plan for the best expression of thoughts and emotions.
Together you and I captured hearts across the world, we spoke to mankind, changed their mindsets, showed them reason. We were always a good team and I miss that. I remember that we would always speak and preach the gospel of love, and I suppose my time had come to practice what we preached, crossing the Atlantic ocean to be with the woman I loved. I suppose you were just preparing me for a moment like this. But I gotta tell you that it‘s not easy being away from you. We had become one, and I want that with you again. Time and space cannot hold us back from being together again can it? I think not, and I know in my heart of hearts that sooner than later we will speak again.
I have already started making plans for us to be together again, and soon I will be speaking to you and with you. We will share more special Moments and escape again to places far too deep for words.
Thank you for being a friend, and for being the voice of so many across the world. if you can, just tell everyone who has that deep connection with us, that it‘s not over. We are creating a deeper meaning to all this, finding sweeter melodies and preparing for more, heart stopping escapades and this will leave them gasping and pulsating for more.
