Russ & I talk about aging and the numbers changing. The expectations of ourselves & others. Embracing our age means just that! We can’t change the number but, we can change how we react & take care of ourselves. Thoughts from the Tractor
We all want the same thing I believe when it comes to politics …..mostly! Work, health, affordable life, helping those who are struggling, & peace! Russ & I share are thoughts…. There is nothing wrong with having rose coloured glasses. Thoughts from the Tractor.
I haven’t drank in almost 20 years….crazy how old thinking can set me back. So grateful to have Russ to talk about it with & friends that I get to be perfectly honest with.
Getting some support when I need it is strength not weakness. Thoughts from the Tractor!
People ask us frequently do we have any grandkids? We start the answer with …. Wellllll……
We are very lucky to have been invited into so many others lives that their kids have become our grandkids without hesitation!! Family comes to us in all different ways! Thoughts from the Tractor.
How often do we say, “we should get together?” Only to meet up at a funeral & say it again !!!
We have been going to many funerals lately & many people we know have had to endure multiple tragedies. We decided to have a bonfire at our farm instead of going to one more funeral.
The laughter was amazing, the renewal of friendships, the knowing that these people around the fire are “our” people. There weee others that couldn’t make it & that’s ok, because they were engaged in their life!
Be engaged in life! Be Connected!
Thoughts from the Tractor.
The last month we scared ourselves with my health. Difficulty breathing & calling 911 was a real eye opener for both Russ & Me. As prepared I feel I am for my eventual death I am not. What are my living wishes? What do I want to do more of in life? What life changes do we need to make?
Make sure we are living our life wishes! Thoughts from the Tractor.
S2.Ep20 Hola, let your guard down!
A little insight from our trip to Mexico.
S2. Ep.19 Don’t be afraid to help yourself!
Working on our marriage means working on ourselves. We want to more than exist in our marriage, we want to flourish.
S.2 Ep18.
We are going through another challenge in our relationship. At what point do we stop blaming how we were raised? Russ weighs in on this with his thoughts & we talk about how we cope with these challenges. He likes head down & plow through. I like to run away. Neither works if we want to stay together. So….. Head up, don’t run & let us communicate. Thoughts from the Tractor.
After a trip away from home & then coming back to realize so much about my community, it is good to feel a sense of belonging.
It is easy for some to criticize who we are or what we do…..realizing for ourself our value & not needing the approval of anyone but ourself is the greatest gift we can give our soul.
I also realized that as some want to quiet my purpose….. I would not be me without it.
Thoughts from the Tractor.
Russ & I talk about what little things we can do & don’t do in our relationship that make a difference. It was a hard one to talk about. Some things seem so silly to be cranky about, but it’s about listening to what the other really wants. Simple things can turn into great things or can slowly erode the relationship. It can take only 4minutes to make a difference….. Thoughts from the Tractor.
It is interesting to watch people who are having fun & drinking. Watching relationships, fun & the disintegration of an evening when people over indulge. Once again, I get the opportunity to self reflect. Once again, I have Russ’s support. Make good decision’s & live a great life! Thoughts from the Tractor.
It gets confusing to me how I should be living in the moment, but still need to plan for the future. Russ & I discuss our perspectives on this. Good thing we are a balance. Can you guess who lives for today & who lol and for tomorrow??? Thoughts from the Tractor.
S2. Ep.13 Learning from each other.
We have so much to learn from our partner & friends, from mind stuff to tasks like changing the tire. What would you wish to learn about from someone you love before it’s too late?
Thoughts from the Tractor.
Where did the fun go??? Russ & I are struggling to put the fun back in our life & not just be making lists & doing tasks. When did the fun leave? Where did it go? How do we get it back? We can make all the excuses but that is just what they are, excuses!
Together we are going to figure this out. Keep having fun or start having fun… Thoughts from the Tractor.
We have been off doing life & we are back!!! It has been a crazy couple of months. We have moved parents, clients & working to figure out our life & what is next.
Life is getting shorter & more complicated, how do we live it well & simplify the way we live without other people telling us how to do it. Thoughts from the Tractor.
