In this 101st podcast episode, I answer the question: why study the Bible at all? Why concern us with anything beyond the range of our own time and place? Within all the literature of the Bible, all the history it provides, the Bible answers the two greatest questions humankind has ever asked: who is God, and who are human beings. This we need to know if we are to avoid the conclusion that humankind is surely going to destroy itself unless it succeeds in growing together into something like a single family.
