(Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Kevin Swanson Trump adds Nigeria as Country of Particular Concern The President of the United States announced Friday that Nigeria will be added to the State Department’s list of Countries of Particular Concern in regards to Christian persecution, reports ABC News. A "Country of Particular Concern" is a designation given by the U.S. government to a country that has engaged in or tolerated "systematic, ongoing, and egregious violations of religious freedom.” This designation, made by the President or Secretary of State under the International Religious Freedom Act, indicates severe religious freedom violations like torture, prolonged detention for religious reasons, or religiously inspired murder. A Country of Particular Concern designation can lead to diplomatic pressure or economic sanctions. Trump threatens Nigerian Islamic terrorists with swift justice President Trump added this passionate statement to his Truth Social on Sunday.  He wrote, “If the Nigerian Government continues to allow the killing of Christians, the U.S.A. will immediately stop all aid and assistance to Nigeria, and may very well go into that now disgraced country, ‘guns-a-blazing,’ to completely wipe out the Islamic Terrorists who are committing these horrible atrocities.  “I am hereby instructing our Department of War to prepare for possible action. If we attack, it will be fast, vicious, and sweet, just like the terrorist thugs attack our CHERISHED Christians! WARNING: THE NIGERIAN GOVERNMENT BETTER MOVE FAST!” In response, Secretary of War Pete Hegseth said on X, "The killing of innocent Christians in Nigeria, and anywhere, must end immediately. The Department of War is preparing for action. Either the Nigerian government protects Christians, or we will kill the Islamic terrorists who are committing these horrible atrocities.” Last month, Republican Senator Ted Cruz of Texas commented on X that "Officials in Nigeria are ignoring and even facilitating the mass murder of Christians by Islamist jihadists.” Mainstream media outlets sidestep Nigerian genocide In recent news reports, the Associated Press, the Washington Post, the New York Times, and other mainstream media sources continue ignoring, minimizing, or outright rejecting the world’s most egregious genocide at present -- the mass killing of Christians in Nigeria, Africa. At the same time, Genocide Watch has issued a “Genocide Emergency” for Nigeria —citing the mass slayings of Christians.   The organization considers Nigeria to have entered what they call Stage 9: Extermination and Stage 10: Denial — with this particular genocide.  Over the last 15 years, a report from the International Society for Religious Liberties and the Rule of Law counts 189,000 Nigerians slaughtered in cold blood by radical Muslims, of which 125,000 plus were Christians.   In addition, 19,100 churches were destroyed, and more than 1,100 Christian communities sacked. Nigerian Bishop upset that some deny there’s a Christian genocide Bishop David Abioye of the Nigerian Conqueror Global Assembly spoke recently of the genocide, correcting what he called “the distortion of truth.” ABIOYE: “There's a lot of distortion going on. People claiming that there is no genocide of Christians in the nation. You see people buried [by the] hundreds, and you say there is no genocide. What a wicked set of people. I agree there are people killed in other place for other reasons.  “But this one is very clear, and gradually it’s eating down to the South, Southwest, Southeast. (Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Adam McManus Blind Pakistani Christian man falsely accused of blasphemy against Muhammad Nadeem Masih, a 49-year-old blind Christian in Pakistan, has been arrested and charged with blasphemy against the false prophet Muhammad, punishable by death, reports Morning Star News. Martha Yousaf, his nearly 80-year-old mother, said that Waqas Mazhar, a Muslim man, often harasses her son, sometimes extorting money from him and other times throwing water on him or calling him names. Mazhar, the Muslim, works as a parking contractor in Lahore, where her blind son earns a meager income providing a weighing scale for petty merchants. She said, “Sometimes kindhearted visitors would also give him more money due to his disability, but the park’s Muslim workers used to steal it from his pocket.” Some, including Mazhar, had also taken loans of various amounts from the Christian blind man but refused to return the money despite his repeated requests. When Masih went to work on August 21, Mazhar and other mean Muslims refused to let him set up his makeshift stall, roughed him up and took him to the police station where the police, to their shame, mercilessly beat the blind Christian man and forced him to admit to the false blasphemy charge. In John 15:18, 21, Jesus said, “If the world hates you, keep in mind that it hated Me first. …  They will treat you this way because of My name, for they do not know the One who sent Me.” Human Rights Watch said, “Blasphemy [against Muhammad] accusations are increasingly weaponized to incite mob violence, displace vulnerable communities, and seize their property with impunity.” Pakistan ranked eighth on Open Doors’ 2025 World Watch List of the 50 most dangerous countries for Christians. King Charles III strips Prince Andrew of title and housing Last Thursday, King Charles III made a shock announcement  confirming that he will strip Prince Andrew, his brother, of both his title and his housing at the Royal Lodge, a lavish 30-room property, which sits in close proximity to Windsor Castle, reports the New York Post. In Andrew Lownie’s biography Entitled: The Rise and Fall of the House of York, he documents that during a taxpayer-funded trip to Thailand, “Andrew had 40 prostitutes brought in the space of four days. This was all enabled by diplomats.” Appearing on Good Morning Britain, Lownie said this about Prince Andrew. LOWNIE: “He's been caught lying time and time again. I suddenly found researching my book, you couldn't take a single thing he said without checking it. And I think the King [Charles III] has realized that he hasn't been telling the truth. And so, the evidence against Andrew is overwhelming.” Plus, Virginia Giuffre, who died by suicide earlier this year, claimed in her posthumously-released memoir, Nobody’s Girl, that Prince Andrew sexually assaulted her three times when she was 17, which he has denied. (Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Adam McManus Sudanese police arrest pastor for not giving Muslim the church In an apparent attempt by a Muslim businessman in Sudan, Africa to seize church property, the police arrested and jailed a pastor on October 28th in River Nile State, reports Morning Star News. At 6:00pm, two police officers arrived at the home of Rev. Daud Kachu of the Sudan Presbyterian Evangelical Church in Atbara and presented him with an arrest warrant. When congregation members said he needed to speak with the church attorney first, the officers initially feigned understanding, but two other policemen, hiding behind the church building, appeared and forced Pastor Kachu into a vehicle. They took him to the Atbara police station, where he was jailed. An intensive interrogation followed on October 29th, and police conveyed the Muslim businessman’s demand that he had 30 days to vacate the church premises. The police officers said, “The law is above your religion.” Police demanded that the pastor sign a document stipulating that he would no longer object to anyone trying to seize the church property, but the pastor refused. Rev. Kachu, who has led the church for 30 years, was initially denied bail, but police later released him after intervention by the church attorney. In Psalm 105:15, God warns, “Do not touch My anointed ones, and do My prophets no harm.” Box Office Massacre: October Revenue Falls to 27-Year Low, Excluding Pandemic Halloween is shaping up to be scarier than ever for Hollywood and its exhibition partners, but not in a good way, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Domestic box office revenue for October 2025 is expected to come in at roughly $425 million — the worst showing in 27 years, according to Comscore. This excludes October 2020, the heart of the COVID-19 pandemic,  Two problems. First, many October titles simply didn’t resonate with general audiences. Second, fewer people are going to the silver screen. MN Supreme Court allows men, pretending to be women, to compete in powerlifting The Minnesota Supreme Court ruled unanimously on October 22nd that men have a right to cheat in women’s sports, reported Fox News. The particular sport in question makes the ruling even more outrageous—powerlifting -- where men have a decided strength advantage biologically speaking.   Don’t forget: This is the state where Governor “Tampon Tim” Walz put tampons in boys’ bathrooms while letting boys go into girls’ bathrooms.   Walz and his Democrat predecessor, Mark Dayton, appointed all of the state’s Supreme Court justices. The fact that the decision was unanimous proves how the Left is “all in” on radical transgender ideology.   The New Left tells women today, “You have to let a man watch you undress and your daughter has to compete against boys.” Trouble In Chinatown In New York City’s Chinatown district, illegal vendors are selling counterfeit merchandise like fake Gucci purses, designer clothing, and  high-end watches, reports Breitbart.com. That’s not only illegal, it also hurts legitimate merchants who cannot compete with the fake knockoffs. Merchants have repeatedly complained to the city, but to no avail.   Federal immigration police launched an enforcement operation. They arrested nine illegal aliens, most of whom had committed additional crimes. Their rap sheets included robbery, assaulting police officers, drug trafficking, drug possession, forgery, and domestic violence.   Gary Bauer of Campaign for Working Families, wrote, “This enforcement operation was a ‘win-win’ for New York City. Kulusumu Namulondo had to be hospitalized along with her two children, ages twelve and nine. Her husband proceeded to demolish the building of the church she had visited. Namulondo described the attack to Morning Star News. She said, “My husband hit my son with the walking stick several times, and he soon fell down screaming and wailing in great pain . . . While my son was on the ground, my husband started beating up me and my daughter. Thank God, neighbors arrived, and my husband fled away.” In Luke 18:29-30, Jesus said, “Assuredly, I say to you, there is no one who has left house or parents or brothers or wife or children, for the sake of the kingdom of God, who shall not receive many times more in this present time, and in the age to come eternal life.” Help victims of Hurricane Melissa  in Jamaica and Cuba Hurricane Melissa struck Jamaica on Tuesday as a Category 5 storm. Melissa weakened to Category 3 before making landfall in Cuba yesterday.  The hurricane is one of the strongest ones on record in the Atlantic, killing dozens of people across the Caribbean. Christian charity organizations are mobilizing aid for victims of the hurricane. President Trump didn’t pull any punches. TRUMP: “Today, I'm calling on every Senate Democrat to stop the madness, to let our country get back.   In the greatest moment in the history of our country, in terms of wealth, in terms of job creation, and in terms of investment coming in, these guys go on strike. It's really a shame! “So, I'm asking them to be smart. It's not working. They're getting killed in the polls. The public understands what they're doing. They're doing the wrong thing.” Republican Senator Ted Cruz of Texas explained that the Democrats have failed to stop the government shutdown. CRUZ: “Thirteen times now the Republicans have voted to open the government to pay the federal workers 13 times. The Democrats’ party line have voted no, keep it shut down. Keep it shut down. Keep it shut down. “And at this point it's not even clear they have an exit ramp. I think they're going to continue this another week or two, and then at some point, seven or eight Democrats are going to have some sense come into them. (Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Jonathan Clark Indian authorities arrest 3 Christians for outreach to Hindus Last week, authorities in northern India arrested three Christians, including a pastor, for conducting an evangelistic outreach to Hindus. The arrests were made in the state of Uttar Pradesh under its anti-conversion law. This comes just days after India’s top court criticized the state’s use of the law to target Christians.  Such anti-conversions laws are used throughout India to persecute Christians. Believers face the harshest treatment in Uttar Pradesh.  India is ranked 11th on the Open Doors’ World Watch List of the most difficult countries to be a Christian.  Trump oversaw Cambodia-Thailand Peace Deal U.S. President Donald Trump is visiting countries in Asia this week. On Sunday, he oversaw the signing of a peace agreement between Cambodia and Thailand. He also signed trade deals with both countries as well as Malaysia.  Listen to comments from President Trump on that Cambodia-Thailand peace deal.  TRUMP: “Today's signing represents just one of eight conflicts that we've ended in eight months of the Trump presidency. I'm very honored to have done it. The president also plans on meeting Chinese President Xi Jinping in South Korea today.  Samaritan’s Purse airlifted 100,000 pounds of food/supplies to Gaza Samaritan’s Purse airlifted over 100,000 pounds of food and relief supplies for families in Gaza on Saturday.  This marks the 13th flight to the Middle East by the international Christian relief organization. Yelp operates a platform that connects people with local businesses. Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton is suing the company for placing misleading information on listings for pro-life pregnancy centers.  In a press release, Paxton said, “Yelp tried to play politics and steer users away from pro-life resources, but being based in the criminal-loving state of California will not shield them from accountability. I will continue to defend pro-life organizations that serve Texans and make sure that women and families are receiving accurate information about our state’s resources.” Pew Research: 59% of Americans like influence of religion on society Pew Research reports a sharp rise in the share of U.S. adults who say religion is gaining influence in American life over the last year. The study also shows that more Americans express a positive view of religion’s role in society.  The survey found 59% of U.S. adults say religion has a good influence on American life, up from 49% in 2022. Twenty percent have a negative view of religion’s influence, down from 26% in 2022. And 21% have a neutral or unclear view of religion’s influence, down from 25% in 2022. (Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Kevin Swanson South African government regulating churches Earlier this month, the South African government agency, known as the Cultural, Religious and Linguistic Rights Commission, launched a committee to regulate churches in the country. The new committee will most likely make determinations as to “what qualifies as a religion,” who may be recognized as a religious leader, and where churches may worship. The concern is also that this governmental power would force churches to come under State-approved umbrella bodies. The nation’s churches have scheduled a march to the Parliament building in Cape Town, the capital of South Africa, on November 13th. South Africa rejects self-defense as reason to own a gun The South African Parliament is also considering additional restrictions on firearms to remove “self-defense” as a valid reason to own a gun. This would remove meaningful protection for families, farms, and churches from violent criminals, in one of the most violent nations on Earth. The Communists and the left-leaning African National Congress have 51% control of the South African parliament. Turmoil in Chinese Communist Party The Chinese Communist government is still in turmoil. At this moment, 38 of the 205 members of the central committee failed to appear for the big Plenum session last week. Of the 33 generals on the Committee, 22 were missing. Trump to meet with Chinese president Xi Jinping on Asian tour President Donald Trump met with Japan’s newly elected Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi yesterday. This week, he will move on to high level meetings in South Korea and China, with Chinese President Xi Jinping on Thursday.  The White House announced that President Trump has signed historic peace deals with Cambodia and Thailand, trade deals with Malaysia, Cambodia, Thailand and Vietnam, and minerals deals with Malaysia and Thailand. Javier Milei’s mid-term election triumph in Argentina The results for Argentina’s mid-term elections are in.  And Javier Milei’s Libertarian Party crushed it, reports Reuters. Now, Milei’s party has 41% control of the legislature which is up from 26% in 2023. The left wing party dropped off from 44% to 32% which is an 11% decline. Milei’s agenda will have stronger legislative backing for more reforms in tax reduction and deregulation of business for the country. Bolivia rejects socialism And, by God’s sovereign order of things, Bolivia has a new president as of last week, reports CBS News. Rodrigo Paz is more centrist — a change after 20 years of socialism in this mountainous country of South America. Not surprisingly, socialist countries like Venezuela and Bolivia are the poorest countries in all of South America. King Charles III glorified sodomy King Charles III of England glorified homosexuality yesterday by placing flowers at a newly constructed memorial to homosexuals serving in the nation’s military, reports The Times. Prince Charles’s mentor and uncle, Lord Louis Mountbatten, served as Britain’s Chief of Defense in the 1960s, and was reported in 2019 as “a homosexual with a perversion for young boys.” King Charles III joined Pope Leo XIV for worship King Charles III made other news headlines last week, when he participated in a public worship service with the Roman Catholic Pope Leo XIV.   This was the first time a reigning British monarch joined the Pope for such events since the Reformation. (Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Adam McManus U.S. Christian missionary pilot kidnapped in Niger at gunpoint Prayers are now going up to Heaven around the world for American missionary pilot Kevin Rideout after he was reportedly kidnapped from his home in the highly secure Château 1 neighborhood of Niamey, the capital of Niger in West Africa, reports The Christian Post. Rideout, a 48-year-old married father, works with Serving In Mission.  Radio France Internationale reported last Wednesday that Rideout was kidnapped by three men at gunpoint near the grand Bravia Hotel, in the city center, just a few hundred meters from the presidential palace. A U.S. State Department spokesman told CBS News, "It is a top priority for the Trump administration to look after the safety of every American, and we are seeing efforts from across the U.S. government to support the recovery and safe return of this U.S. citizen.” The U.S. Embassy in Niamey also issued a security alert on Wednesday, warning Americans that they face a "heightened risk of kidnapping" throughout the country, which has been in political turmoil since a coup d'etat on July 26, 2023. There has been no known demand from any kidnappers nor any official response from the Nigerien government. Security officials said the kidnapped American's phone was tracked less than an hour after the abduction late Tuesday night to a location about 56 miles north of Niamey — in an area "considered a sanctuary for groups affiliated with the Islamic State in the Greater Sahara" between the Nigerian capital and the Malian border.  Please pray Psalm 121:7 for missionary pilot Kevin Rideout. “The Lord will keep you from all harm. He will watch over your life.” Mike Johnson: Democrats want waste and abuse back in Medicaid The U.S. government has been shut down now for 27 days. Appearing on ABC, House Speaker Mike Johnson, a Republican from Louisiana, explained what the Democrats in the U.S. Senate are trying to do instead of voting for the clean Continuing Resolution to re-open the government. JOHNSON: “What it does is it unwinds the changes that Republicans put into the Big, Beautiful Bill, the big signature legislation that we passed and signed into law on July 4 that has been very successful in shoring up Medicaid for the people who are actually eligible to receive it. “What we did in the bill, and the CBO just verified this three weeks ago, the Congressional Budget Office, the nonpartisan arbiters of everything up here, they said that those provisions have helped to reduce premiums. “Why? Because we got ineligible recipients off of Medicaid, illegal aliens and able bodied young men who are riding the wagon, who are not eligible to be there. Medicaid is intended for specific populations of U.S. citizens -- that is young, pregnant women who are down on their luck, the disabled and the elderly. “Those resources are being drained from those folks, and so we fixed that. We reduced fraud, waste, and abuse in the program. Chuck Schumer's counter proposal on the [Continuing Resolution] would reverse that. (Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Adam McManus Spanish priest acquitted on hate crime charges for criticizing radical Islam A Spanish Catholic priest who was facing three years in prison for making critical remarks about radical Islam nearly a decade ago has been acquitted, reports The Christian Post. The advocacy organization Abogados Cristianos announced in an X post last Friday that “The Malaga Court [acquitted] Pastor Custodio [Ballester], prosecuted for criticizing Islam: there is no hate crime.” In 2016, Ballester was charged with saying, “Islam does not allow for dialogue. You either believe or you are an infidel who must be subdued one way or another.” The Rev. Franklin Graham praised Ballester’s acquittal as “good news” in an X post on Monday.  A report published last month by the Spanish Observatory for Religious Freedom and Conscience found that 69% of the attacks were directed at Christians, while instances of antisemitism grew by 38% compared to 2023 and had increased by 867% since 2022. Senator Schumer’s shutdown flip flop, afraid of an AOC challenge Democratic Senator Chuck Schumer of New York, the Minority Leader of the U.S. Senate, has historically opposed government shutdowns. He opposed a shutdown on October 16, 2013. SCHUMER: “What if I persuaded my caucus to say I'm going to shut the government down. I'm going to not pay our bills unless I get my way. It's a politics of idiocy, of confrontation, of paralysis.” Then, Senator Schumer opposed a government shutdown on January 25, 2019. SCHUMER: “Shutting down government over a policy difference is self-defeating. We can never hold American workers hostage again.” And, as recently as March 13th of this year, Senator Schumer opposed a government shutdown then. SCHUMER:  “While the [Continuing Resolution] bill is very bad, the potential for a shutdown has consequences for America that are much, much worse. Therefore, I will vote to keep the government open and not shut it down.” But now, Democratic Senator Schumer is leading the fight for the government shutdown, driven by the AOC/Sanders wing of his party. Listen to CNN’s John Berman’s introduction of his recent appearance. BERMAN: “Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, who joins us now from Capitol Hill. Senator, I was saying that every Republican who's gone on TV the last, what nine hours or so, has called this the ‘Schumer Shutdown.” Later, Berman said this. BERMAN: “Everyone in Congress right now, on the Republican side, is really pointing the finger squarely at you personally. And one of the things they're saying is, this is about politics in New York, that you might face a primary from Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.” In fact, Republican Senator John Kennedy of Louisiana said as much. KENNEDY: “Senator Schumer, his relationship with the truth is very casual. The truth is that this is a political shutdown. Senator Schumer is nervous as a pregnant nun about losing his re-election to the socialist wing of his party led by Congresswoman Ocasio-Cortez, which is in control. “Now, we will eventually come out of this shutdown. Here's how I think it will happen. Senator Schumer is a smart man. He's been around a long time. His first car was a chariot. Washington is all he's ever known his entire life. He knows he's on shaky ground here in terms of policy. “So, here's how I think it'll end. Schumer will go to six or eight of his colleagues, Democrats of course, and say, ‘I want you to vote to lift the shutdown.’ He'll say, ‘I can't vote with you. I've got to appear to be tough. I may even have to criticize you, but’ -- wink wink, nod nod – ‘I'm trying to make the loon wing of the party love me, but you bail me out here.’ But he's got to be careful with that, because he doesn't want it to look like a mutiny, because then he looks even weaker.”

The survey found such crimes are downplayed, under-reported, or politically overlooked. Anti-Christian hate crimes include vandalism, harassment, threats, physical assaults, and even murder.  The report noted, “Religion-related or religion-inspired violence may also stem from the perception of Christianity as a rival, inferior or adversarial faith . . . For example, some forms of violent ‘extremist’ rhetoric portray Christians as ‘infidels’ and ‘enemies of Islam’ who must be subdued.” Converts from Islam to Christianity in Europe, especially women, were particularly at risk of violence or threats from family members.   Messianic Christian ministry seeing Israelis coming to Christ This month is the two-year anniversary of the October 7th attack on Israel by Hamas, the Muslim terrorist organization Since then, Israelis have been turning to God during the ongoing war.  A new study found that the personal religiosity and spirituality of Jewish-Israeli students increased over the last two years.  Christian ministries in particular are seeing an uptick in interest. ONE FOR ISRAEL is a group devoted to bringing the Gospel of Jesus Christ to Israelis. The ministry noted, “We have received a huge number of messages from seekers, exploring faith, and seen many come to faith during the war. We have mailed out hundreds of copies of the New Testament.” In Romans 1:16, the Apostle Paul wrote, “For I am not ashamed of the Gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek.” J.D. Vance in Israel: Ceasefire will hold U.S. Vice President J.D. Vance visited Israel on Tuesday. He met with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in Jerusalem yesterday. Vance expressed optimism at a press conference that the ceasefire between Israel and Hamas would hold. Listen. VANCE: “A lot of our Israeli friends working together with a lot of Americans to actually mediate this entire ceasefire process, to get some of the critical infrastructure off the ground from the international security force so the reconstruction of Gaza. It's not easy. I never said it was easy, but what I am is optimistic that the ceasefire is going to hold, and that we can actually build a better future in the entire Middle East.” U.S. President Donald Trump has warned that if Hamas violates their agreement, “an end to Hamas will be FAST, FURIOUS, & BRUTAL!” New North Carolina U.S. congressional map could help GOP In the United States, North Carolinian lawmakers approved a new congressional map yesterday. The revised map could help Republicans pick up an additional seat in the U.S. House of Representatives.  President Trump is encouraging GOP-led states to redistrict ahead of the 2026 midterm elections. Texas and Missouri have already redrawn their U.S. House districts.  Barna: Americans don’t believe drunkenness, gambling, & Sabbath-breaking are sinful Dr. George Barna, the Christian researcher, released his latest report on the worldview of Americans. The survey asked people about 12 specific behaviors, traditionally considered sinful. The study found a majority of U.S. adults still believe six of the behaviors are sinful. Those include lying or manipulating, abusing God’s name, idol worship, sex outside marriage, pornography use, and illegal drug use. Respondents were split on three of the behaviors—abortion, sexual fantasies, and cheating on taxes.  And Americans dismissed the final three behaviors as not sinful—drunkenness, gambling, and Sabbath-breaking. Now, an indigenous council is ordering him to leave the community with his family or face punishment.  Despite threats of violence, the pastor said, “I am not afraid. The church tells me to continue, not to leave them. I plan to continue working and trusting in God.” The South American nation is ranked 46th on the Open Doors’ World Watch List of the most difficult countries to be a Christian.  2 Timothy 3:10-12 says, “You, however, have followed my teaching, my conduct, my aim in life, my faith, my patience, my love, my steadfastness, my persecutions and sufferings … which persecutions I endured; yet from them all, the Lord rescued me. Indeed, all who desire to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted.” Trump threatens Columbia with tariffs over illegal drugs Speaking of Colombia, U.S. President Donald Trump said Sunday that he would raise tariffs on the country and cancel subsidies.  President Trump accused Colombia of being complicit in the illicit drug trade, calling their president “an illegal drug leader.” This continues tensions between the U.S. and Latin American countries over the drug trade. President Trump has ordered multiple strikes on alleged drug boats coming from Colombia’s neighbor, Venezuela.  Uruguay first Latin American country to legalize euthanasia In other South American news, Uruguay became the first Latin American country to legalize euthanasia by parliamentary vote last Wednesday.  President Yamandú Orsi, a left-wing leader, promised to sign the bill. Colombia and Ecuador have already decriminalized euthanasia through Supreme Court decision. And Chile’s left-wing president is also pushing for the legalization of this form of killing.  Canadian doctors killed 90,000 patients through legalized euthanasia In North America, euthanasia deaths in Canada rose to about 16,500 last year. That’s 5% of all deaths in the country.  Canadian doctors have killed nearly 90,000 people since the country legalized euthanasia in 2016. In many cases, the reason given for the assisted suicide was simply “frailty.”  Planned Parenthood closes 7 California killing centers In the United States, Planned Parenthood announced it is closing seven locations in California.  The abortion giant has announced the closure of 50 locations across America so far this year.  The closures come as Republicans push for the defunding of Planned Parenthood. For example, President Trump’s “One Big Beautiful Bill” defunds the abortion giant for a year. Bible sales up 36% following Charlie Kirk’s assassination Following the tragic murder of Christian activist Charlie Kirk last month, Bible sales have surged. In September, 2.4 million Bibles were sold, up 36% compared to the same month last year. Interest in the Bible rose especially among the 18-to-34-year-old demographic, the age group that Kirk often engaged with on college campuses.  His widow, Erika Kirk, commented on this spiritual awakening during her speech at his memorial service in Phoenix, Arizona last month.  Listen. Since 2023, the communist leader, Xi Jinping, has administered the removal of dozens of senior officers. These moves signal a factionalism from within the party and the Chinese military. Experts question whether Jinping will survive in his position. This week, the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China is holding its Fourth Plenary Session where leaders will work out a Five-Year Plan. The outcome of this meeting will reveal Jinping’s standing in party politics. Keep in mind: God is in control. Haggai 2:22 says, “The word of the Lord came unto Haggai … I will overthrow the throne of kingdoms. … I will overthrow the chariots, and those that ride in them; and the horses and their riders shall come down, everyone by the sword of his brother.” Pakistani pastor survives murder plot A Pakistani pastor survived a murder attempt in Islamabad, the capital of Pakistan, on the morning of Sunday, September 21, reports Barnabas Aid. Pastor Kamran Naz had been traveling by bus, accompanied by his mother, from his home in Gujranwala to lead a church service in Islamabad when he was attacked by two unidentified gunmen. One bullet wounded the pastor in the right leg. A second bullet narrowly missed his head. The attackers then fled on a motorcycle as some church members who were present swiftly came to the pastor’s aid and contacted emergency services. Pastor Kamran had previously notified the police of numerous death threats. He was warned to stop ministering at the church or face the consequences.  Pastor Imran Amanat, leader of the Christian advocacy group LEAD Ministries Pakistan, said, “We will not be intimidated or silenced. We demand that the authorities immediately ensure the protection of Christian leaders and hold the criminals accountable. If the government continues to ignore these threats, it becomes complicit in the persecution.” According to Open Doors, Pakistan is the eighth most dangerous country worldwide for Christians. Swedish parents lost custody over kids’ required church attendance Certain European nations have now been recognized for their systemic violation of parental rights, especially if the parents happen to be Christian.  Alliance Defending Freedom International is working on a case in Sweden, where parents have lost custody of their children under charges of “religious extremism.” The parents had simply restricted the phone use of their teen children and required attendance at church meetings. After three years of attempts to regain custody, Daniel and Bianca Samson are appealing their case to the European Court of Human Rights. Recently, the High Court has already condemned countries like Spain, Portugal, Italy, Croatia, and Romania for systemic violations in family separation and child welfare cases. Iran threatens Israel Iran’s Ayatollah Ali Khamenei took to social media (X) yesterday, effectively taunting the American government, threatening Israel, and asserting independence for the nation’s nuclear program. He asked, “What authority do you, Americans, have to dictate what a country should or shouldn't do if it possesses nuclear industry? What position do you hold in the world? How is it any of America's business whether Iran has nuclear capabilities and nuclear industry or not? .. . The U.S. President boasts that they’ve bombed and destroyed Iran’s nuclear industry. (Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Jonathan Clark Human Rights Conference in Berlin Highlights Christian Persecution Human rights experts met in Berlin, Germany last Wednesday, highlighting the increased persecution of Christians worldwide.  The International Society for Human Rights released a new report on Christian persecution at the conference.  The report notes that Christians suffer under dictatorial states like China, Cuba, and North Korea. They remain victims of discrimination and violence without state protections in countries like Egypt, Syria, Nigeria, India, and Myanmar. And believers face persecution in Islamic republics like Afghanistan, Iran, and Pakistan.  The conference also highlighted the suffering of Ukrainian Christians under Russian occupation. Johann Matthies with the Evangelical Alliance in Germany said, “Russian occupation authorities are specifically targeting Ukrainian religious communities: they are pressuring churches to cooperate or destroying them if they refuse.” Psalm 34:15-16 says, “The eyes of the LORD are on the righteous, and His ears are open to their cry. The face of the LORD is against those who do evil, to cut off the remembrance of them from the earth.” President Trump Continues Efforts to End Russian-Ukrainian War U.S. President Donald Trump continues his efforts to end the war between Russia and Ukraine. President Trump spoke over the phone with Russian President Vladimir Putin last Thursday. He then met with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy at the White House last Friday. President Trump also plans on meeting with President Putin in Budapest, Hungary in the coming weeks. Listen to comments from President Trump. TRUMP: "I met with President Zelensky, as you know, today, and we had a very good meeting; very cordial meeting. In my opinion, they should stop the war immediately. Russia Proposes a Rail Tunnel Under the Bering Strait Reuters reports Russia proposed a “Putin-Trump” rail tunnel under the Bering Strait to link the two nations. The eight billion dollar proposal follows President Donald Trump’s phone call with President Vladimir Putin. Russia’s proposal would involve building a 70-mile rail and cargo tunnel between Alaska and Russia’s eastern region of Chukotka. The plan suggested Elon Musk’s Boring Company for the construction project. President Trump called the idea “interesting,” saying, “We’ll have to think about that.”  Trump Moves to Reduce the Cost of IVF Last Thursday, President Donald Trump announced a deal with the pharmaceutical industry to reduce the cost of in vitro fertilization. The Trump administration hailed the move as pro-family. However, pro-life groups are criticizing the plan.  LifeSiteNews noted, “The IVF process is gravely unethical as it entails the conscious creation of scores of ‘excess’ embryonic humans only to be killed and human lives being treated like commodities to be bartered over. It has been estimated that more than a million embryos are frozen in storage in the United States following IVF, and that as many as 93 percent of all embryos created through IVF are eventually destroyed.” Conservative Anglicans Split from the Church of England Conservative Anglicans formally split from the Church of England last week. (Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Adam McManus Chinese college forces students to identify as atheists According to a September 30th report from ChinaAid, a mobile app used by a Chinese vocational school, requires students to declare they’re atheists.   The app, used by Tianjin Vocational College of Mechanics and Electricity in China, instructs students to check the box for “no religious belief” in their personal information sections, clearly violating their right to religious freedom.  The report stated that “point 4 under ‘personal information notes’ requires filling in ‘no religious belief,’ forcing all enrolled students to declare themselves as ‘atheists’ or ‘non-believers.’”  The Chinese Communist Party is officially atheist and has a long history of disrespecting and persecuting religious communities, including Christians.  Psalm 14:1 says, “The fool says in his heart, ‘There is no God.’” The Gospel Coalition stated in 2022 that “[President] Xi despises Christianity … [and] fears that religion, especially Christianity, is an attempt by foreign influences to subvert his nation.”   U.S. Special Operations helicopters near Venezuela The U.S. military’s elite Special Operations aviation unit appears to have flown in Caribbean waters less than 90 miles from the coast of Venezuela in recent days, reports the Washington Post. According to an unnamed U.S. official, the helicopters were engaged in training exercises that could serve as preparation for expanded conflict against alleged drug traffickers, including potential missions inside Venezuela. Already, the U.S. military has struck at least five boats carrying illegal narcotics in international waters, killing at least 27 drug traffickers. Speaker Johnson & Speaker Ohana back Trump for Nobel Peace Prize On Wednesday, House Speaker Mike Johnson explained why he believed that President Donald Trump is deserving of the Nobel Peace Prize next year. JOHNSON: “I'm proud to tell you that together with my friend, Speaker [Amir] Ohana of the Israeli Knesset, the equivalent of our Congress, we're going to rally speakers and presidents of parliaments around the world so that we will jointly nominate President Donald J. (Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Jonathan Clark British Christian teacher fired for Facebook post about Islamic violence A British Christian teacher, who was unjustly  fired, shared his testimony at a Reform UK party free speech conference last week. Simon Pearson had a 20-year unblemished teaching record. However, Preston College dismissed him last year for allegedly being “Islamaphobic.” He had simply expressed concern on Facebook over violent crime and political bias. Pearson is challenging his dismissal with the help of the Christian Legal Centre.  Listen to his comments at the free speech conference. PEARSON: “Previously, I've worked as a missionary in a communist country where freedom of speech and religion are tightly controlled. I know what it means to live under a regime where truth is suppressed and conscience is punished. “I never imagined I would face similar pressures in the United Kingdom, a country built on the foundations of liberty, of justice and of Christian values. I'm fighting for justice, not just for myself, but for every teacher, for every Christian and every citizen who fears that their voice no longer matters and they are being silenced.” Young people of Northern Ireland more open to Christianity Speaking of the United Kingdom, young people in Northern Ireland are leading a revival of interest in Christianity, according to a poll by The Iona Institute. The survey found 18-24-year-olds in Northern Ireland are more likely to have a very positive attitude toward Christianity than any other age group. These findings are similar to studies of young people in Ireland, Britain, and the United States. Gen Z boys most likely to believe that Jesus is way to Heaven Here in America, the Barna Group released new research from its ongoing State of the Church initiative.  Surveys show that Gen Z is increasingly open to Christian faith. However, among young people, women are the most likely to disengage from church, prayer, and belief.  Meanwhile, young men and especially teenage boys are the least likely to identify as having no faith among young people. They are also the most likely to believe in God and that Jesus Christ is the only way to God. In John 14:6, Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.” Fewer young Americans identifying as “transgender” Here some more good news. Trans identification is declining among young people in America. Eric Kaufmann, a Canadian professor of politics, posted the findings on Tuesday. His analysis is based on multiple data sets, including those from the Foundation for Individual Rights and Expression. The data shows 3.6% of undergraduates identify as a gender other than male or female. That’s down from 5.2% in 2024 and 6.8% in 2022.  The data sets also showed young people are becoming less likely to identify as something other than heterosexual.  Trump posthumously awarded Charlie Kirk Presidential Medal of Freedom President Donald Trump posthumously awarded Charlie Kirk with the Presidential Medal of Freedom on Tuesday. (Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Jonathan Clark Turkey has expelled 350 foreign Christians Alliance Defending Freedom International reports that officials in Turkey are labeling Christians as national security threats.   Since 2020, the country has expelled about 350 foreign Christians under the guise of “national security.” Many of these believers lived and ministered in the country for decades. Officials are not only keeping foreign Christians out, they are also suppressing churches inside the country. For example, Turkey restricts Bible education and continues to deny legal status to Protestant seminaries. Madagascar Parliament impeaches President after Gen Z protests Youth-led protests have contributed to the unseating of another government—this time in Madagascar, an island country located 250 miles off the coast of Southeast Africa in the Indian Ocean Since September 25, Gen Z  groups have led antigovernment protests. They were protesting over water and power outages as well as poverty and government corruption.  The country’s parliament voted Tuesday to impeach President Andry Rajoelina. He has been in power since  2009. The Madagascar Army immediately seized control of the African island nation, promising to create a transitional government.  The Gen Z-Madagascar movement was inspired by youth-led protesters in Kenya last year and in Nepal this year. America boosts Argentinian economy The United States finalized a $20 billion currency swap with Argentina last Thursday. The U.S. move aims at providing economic stability to Argentina as well as keeping China’s influence out of the South American country.  Argentinian President Javier Milei thanked the United States. In a post on X. he wrote, “Together, as the closest of allies, we will make a hemisphere of economic freedom and prosperity.” Nobel Peace Prize recipient dedicates prize to President Trump The Norwegian Nobel Committee awarded the Nobel Peace Prize for 2025 to Maria Corina Machado last Friday.  The 58-year-old activist is known for leading the Venezuelan opposition to the governments of Hugo Chávez and Nicolás Maduro. Machado responded to the award on X, saying the recognition was a boost to her work. She also wrote, “I dedicate this prize to the suffering people of Venezuela and to President Trump for his decisive support of our cause!” U.S. President Donald Trump has been nominated for the peace prize multiple times for his peace deals, especially in the Middle East. To be clear, the deadline for the Nobel Peace Prize handed out in October was January 31, just 11 days after Trump took office. Jesus reminds us of ultimate peace in John 14:27. He said, “Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.” Trump lays off 4,000 federal employees The Trump administration is laying off over 4,000 federal employees as the government shutdown continues. LifeSiteNews reports the layoffs include people working on Democrat programs like “family planning” and “LGBTQ health” issues. President Trump told a cabinet meeting that he would use the shutdown to cut Democrat programs. Listen. (Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Kevin Swanson Chinese Communists detain dozens of leaders of unregistered church The American State Department has condemned the Chinese Communist Party’s recent detention of dozens of Christian leaders of the unregistered house Zion Church in Beijing. The arrests included the prominent Chinese Pastor Mingri “Ezra” Jin.  Zion Church includes 10,000 people from at least 40 Chinese cities -- making it  one of the largest house churches in China.   Secretary of State Marco Rubio is calling on the Communists to “immediately release the detained church leaders and to allow all people of faith, including members of house churches, to engage in religious activities without fear of retribution.”   Pastor Jin’s son-in-law, Bill Drexel of the Hudson Institute, called the arrests “the most extensive attack on a Chinese church in four decades.” Trump rolls out additional 100% tariff on Chinese imports Speaking of China, U.S. President Donald Trump has announced an additional 100% tariff on all Chinese imports, above and beyond current rates. It will become effective on November 1st. This would raise tariff rates on Chinese imports to at least 155%. The Trump tariffs have not damaged Chinese exports much so far this year.  . .  Official numbers released yesterday indicate a 4% increase on total Chinese exports for the year. This occurred despite a 19% drop in US imports from China year-to-date. The U.S. makes up only 14% of Chinese exports. Israeli leader compares Trump to Cyrus the Great Celebrating the end of the recent war in the Middle East, President Donald Trump talked to the Israeli Parliament yesterday, reports the Times of Israel. Listen, TRUMP: “This is not only the end of a war; this is the end of an age of terror and death and the beginning of the age of faith and hope and of God. “It's the start of a grand concord and lasting harmony for Israel and all the nations of what will soon be a truly magnificent region. I believe that so strongly. This is the historic dawn of a new Middle East.” This comes as the Israeli-Hamas War ends and the twenty remaining living Israeli hostages were returned to their families. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu  thanked President Trump for his support of Israel. NETANYAHU:  “The American-Israeli Alliance has never been as strong as it is now. The President has been an outstanding global leader. He's really transforming the world to better all of us. And I can again repeat what I've said time and time again: He's the greatest friend that Israel has ever had in the White House.” And Amir Ohana, the Speaker of the Knesset, the Israeli Parliament, also spoke in glowing terms. OHANA: “Mr. President, you stand before the people of Israel not as another American president, but as a giant of Jewish history -- one for whom we must look back two and a half millennia, into the mists of time, to find a parallel: Cyrus the Great. “You, President Donald J. Last Tuesday morning, October 7th, they launched the deadly attack on Rizerie village, located in the predominantly Christian Lubero territory in North Kivu Province.  The Muslim attackers arrived while people were working in a gold mining site. They killed five civilians who were actively mining gold at the time.  A witness said, “The people who were killed were just trying to work so they could earn a living. They woke up early that morning, hoping to provide for their families. Then the rebels came out of nowhere and brutally ended their lives. It was horrifying — gunshots, screaming, and people running in every direction. Those men did not deserve to die like that.”  According to Open Doors, Congo is the 35th most dangerous country worldwide for Christians. Please pray for the safety of our brothers and sisters in Christ in Congo, Africa. Trump insists on paying soldiers in midst of gov’t shutdown President Donald Trump is implementing a temporary solution to minimize the pain inflicted on American servicemen during the Democrat-induced government shutdown, reports TheBlaze. On Truth Social, the President wrote, "I am using my authority, as Commander-in-Chief, to direct our Secretary of War, Pete Hegseth, to use all available funds to get our Troops PAID on October 15th. We have identified funds to do this.” Democrats allowed government funding to lapse past the September 30 deadline, refusing to pass the Republican-led continuing resolution. Although spending fights have turned partisan in the past, Republicans simply proposed a clean 90-page Continuing Resolution that kept funding levels at the same rates that Democrats voted for in the past. Their bill had no partisan line items, with the only anomaly being a bipartisan boost in security funding for politicians following Charlie Kirk's assassination. On the other hand, Democrats proposed a $1.5 trillion funding bill that is chock-full of ideological provisions aimed at reversing the legislative accomplishments Republicans secured with the One Big Beautiful Bill Act. Democrats have also attempted to make the spending fight about re-negotiating Obama-era health care subsidies, although they do not expire until the end of the year. 16 killed in explosion at TN military explosives manufacturer A "devastating" blast at a Tennessee military explosives manufacturing plant at 7:48am on Friday is believed to have killed 16 people, reports ABC News. Humphreys County Sheriff Chris Davis spoke at a press conference on Saturday. DAVIS:  “We have notified all 16 families of those people that we feel were involved in this tragedy.” The explosion occurred at Accurate Energetic Systems in McEwen, located about 50 miles west of Nashville. (Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Adam McManus Sudanese Muslims threaten to take over Christian school A years-long Islamist attempt to seize a Christian school in Sudan, Africa continued this month even as people displaced by war have taken refuge in the facility, reports Morning Star News. On September 3rd, an Islamic business interest sent three Muslims who forcefully entered the embattled Evangelical School of Sudan, located in the city of Omdurman across the Nile River from Sudan’s capital of Khartoum. They threatened hundreds of mostly Christian people displaced by internal war, telling them to leave the compound. The intruders made their way to the office of the headmaster of the school, which belongs to the Sudan Presbyterian Evangelical Church and broke the office door. Without giving a deadline, the intruders threatened to take the facility by force. Psalm 10:2 says, “In arrogance, the wicked hotly pursue the poor; let them be caught in the schemes that they have devised.” President Trump helped orchestrate Israel-Hamas peace deal At his Cabinet meeting yesterday morning, President Donald Trump discussed the historic peace deal he helped to negotiate between Israel and Hamas, the Palestinian Muslim terrorist  group, to end the two-year-long war.  TRUMP: “It's really peace in the Middle East.” It was part of his 20-point peace plan to end the conflict. TRUMP: “We ended the war in Gaza, and really, on a much bigger basis, created peace. And I think it's going to be a lasting peace, hopefully an everlasting peace. Peace in the Middle East. We secured the release of all of the remaining hostages. It'll be a day of joy. “I'm going to try and make a trip over. We're going to go to Egypt, where we'll have a signing, an additional signing. We've already had a signing representing me, but we're going to have an official signing. So, it's been really something incredible that nobody thought it was possible to get it done.” On Friday, Israel's government ratified a ceasefire with Hamas, clearing the way to suspend hostilities in Gaza within 24 hours and free Israeli hostages held there within 72 hours after that, reports Reuters. Twenty Israeli hostages are still believed to be alive in Gaza, while 26 are presumed dead, and the fate of two is unknown. Hamas has indicated that recovering the bodies of the dead may take longer than releasing those who are alive. The living Israeli hostages are set to be released on Monday or Tuesday as Israel simultaneously prepares to release hundreds of Palestinian prisoners. Many world leaders praised President Trump for his administration’s role in brokering the deal.  Celebrations have erupted across Israel and Gaza, as the region welcomes the peace agreement, reports TheEpochTimes.com. TRUMP:  “So, I want to express my tremendous gratitude to the leaders of Qatar, Egypt and Turkey, for helping us reach this incredible day and for being there. They were there with us all the way. And of course, as you know, Saudi Arabia and Jordan, and so many.  I will tell you, [Turkey] President [Recep] Erdogan was personally involved in dealing with Hamas and some of the others. He's been great. They've all been really amazing. Indonesia has been amazing. “The whole world has come together for this. People that didn't get along, people that didn't like each other, neighboring countries, that, frankly, didn't like each other. But now this is a moment in time.” At the cabinet meeting yesterday morning, Trump noted that this was the eighth major world conflict he helped to resolve in the first eight months of his second term. Pastor Zafar Bhatti founded Jesus World Mission Church ministry. Back in 2012, he was falsely accused of insulting Islam. Authorities finally overturned his conviction this month, releasing him last Wednesday. The 62-year-old pastor died days after from cardiac arrest at his home.   The British Asian Christian Association helped defend the pastor in court. The organization stated, “Though his earthly journey has ended, Zafar’s faith, endurance, and ultimate vindication remain a powerful testament to hope in Christ amidst persecution.” Nigerian Anglican Church appalled that woman chosen to be new church head The Anglican Church of Nigeria declared spiritual independence from the Church of England on Tuesday. The announcement came in response to the Church of England’s appointment of Sarah Mullally as the Archbishop of Canterbury. She is the first woman to hold the position. She also supports abortion and faux homosexual marriage.  Archbishop Henry Ndukuba is the Primate of the Church of Nigeria. He stated, “[Mullally’s] appointment marks a tragic departure from biblical orthodoxy. . . . We remain Anglicans — but not under Canterbury. Our loyalty is to Christ and the truth of His Word, not to institutions that have abandoned it.” Police arrest man intent on blowing up church with Supreme Court Justices In the United States, police arrested a man on Sunday who had hundreds of explosive devises outside of St. Matthews Cathedral in Washington, D.C. Police made the arrest before an annual service traditionally attended by U.S. Supreme Court justices.  According to court records, the man’s notebook expressed animosity toward Supreme Court justices, the Catholic Church, Jews, and immigration enforcement officials.  FBI cuts ties with God-hating Southern Poverty Law Center The Federal Bureau of Investigation announced last week it has cut ties with the Southern Poverty Law Center. The far-left nonprofit is known for listing conservative and Christian organizations as “hate groups,”  primarily because they affirm God’s design for sexuality and marriage. FBI Director Kash Patel posted on X, “The Southern Poverty Law Center long ago abandoned civil rights work and turned into a partisan smear machine. Their so-called ‘hate map’ has been used to defame mainstream Americans and even inspired violence. That disgraceful record makes them unfit for any FBI partnership.” Florida, Louisiana, Missouri & Texas sue FDA over mail-order Abortion Kill Pill The state of Louisiana joined a lawsuit against the Food and Drug Administration on Monday.  Florida, Missouri, and Texas are also on the case. They are challenging the FDA’s 2023 policy that allows mail-order abortion drugs. Louisiana’s filing states, “Every year, doctors and activists in states like California and New York mail a U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA)-approved abortion drug called mifepristone to thousands of Louisiana residents for the express purpose of causing abortions in Louisiana that are blatantly unlawful.” Gold hit $4,000 per ounce first time ever On Tuesday, spot gold prices hit $4,000 per ounce for the first time in history.  That’s up 50% from January. Silver is up 60% this year. Eighty-eight countries have at least some restrictions on Bible access. The country with the most extreme restrictions is Somalia followed by Afghanistan, Yemen, and North Korea.  The Bible Access List noted, “Bible access in Somalia is not just limited; it is outlawed. Under a strict interpretation of Sharia law, it is illegal to print, import, store, or distribute Bibles.” Many of the countries with the worst restrictions are Muslim-majority nations governed by Sharia law. In 2 Timothy 2:8-9, the Apostle Paul reminds us, “Remember Jesus Christ, risen from the dead, the offspring of David, as preached in my gospel, for which I am suffering, bound with chains as a criminal. But the word of God is not bound!” 20,000 Canadian pro-lifers stood in Life Chain An estimated 20,000 pro-lifers joined Canada’s 35th annual Life Chain on Sunday. Participants took the streets across hundreds of cities in Canada. They held pro-life signs along roadways and prayed for the end of abortion. Josie Luetke with the Campaign Life Coalition told LifeSiteNews, “You see longtime, elderly activists with their walkers and lawn chairs and families with young kids running around. Life Chain is really a group effort . . . and it is a joy to see the entire pro-life movement united in this cause on this one day.” 30% of Canadian 11 to 13-year-olds open to church if invited Speaking of Canada, youth evangelism ministry OneHope released a report on the spiritual state of Generation Alpha in the country. The study covered young people between the ages of 11-13.  Forty-nine percent of respondents identified as Christian, 35% as non-religious, and 16% as other religions. Only 27% of Gen Alpha Christians qualified as committed Christians through Biblical beliefs and regular prayer and Bible reading.   Among non-religious teens, 30% said they would be open to attending a Christian church service if a friend invited them.  Trump eager to cut billions in waste and abuse during shutdown In the United States, the federal government shutdown continues as funding proposals from Republicans and Democrats keep failing in the Senate.  Democrats are withholding support for a funding bill unless it extends Obamacare subsidies. Republicans want to deal with the issue later in the year. President Donald Trump said he wants to use the shutdown to cut billions of dollars of waste, fraud and abuse.  Listen.  TRUMP: “Because of the shutdown, which I think they made a big mistake, we're able to take out billions and billions of dollars of waste, fraud and abuse. And they've handed it [to us] on a silver platter. Elon Musk: Cancel your NetFlix subscription over transgender shows Tech billionaire Elon Musk is echoing recent calls for people to cancel their Netflix subscriptions over immoral programming for children.  He posted on X last Wednesday, “Cancel Netflix for the health of your kids”.  The shares of Netflix dropped nearly 5% over the course of last week. The recent trend to cancel Netflix resulted from conservative voices exposing Netflix for pushing transgender shows on children.  More Americans perceive having kids as a blessing Pew Research released a new report showing that more people view having children as a good thing for America. Fifty-three percent of U.S. adults say that if more people choose not to have children, it will have a negative impact on the country. That percentage is up from 47% last year. Only 20% of respondents said that people choosing not to have children would be positive for America.  Among men, 59% said fewer people having children would have a negative impact.
