On Today’s episode, we have Valentin Paret-Peintre.
The enigmatic French man joined the team this winter and he sat down with us in our hotel lobby ahead of the Ardeche and Drome one-day races this weekend. He talks about the welcome he has received by the ever growing Wolfpack family.
Valentin also gives some fascinating insight in to why he feels is a better stage race rider than a one day racer, giving details than many of us may overlook, and what winning a stage at last year’s Giro meant to him, as well as how has looked up to many of Soudal Quick-Step’s star names both past and present.
Casper Pedersen is the latest in a long line of Danish riders that have been involved with Soudal Quick-Step pro cycling.

Today we will be taking a different direction on the show, in that we will not be talking to a past or parent rider but a member of the team’s staff.
The role of a cycling soigneur is one of mystery to some outside of the sport. More than just giving massages they are literally the carers or assistants to the riders of team, helping them with logistics, making sure they are fed during and after races, as well as often being a confident during those moments of solitude on the massage table. In the case of our organisation, they are the backbone of the team with many of them being with us since its inception over two decades ago.
David Geeroms has been connected with Soudal Quick-Step for nearly a decade, helping first as a freelance soigneur, and then joining full time. David can often be seen on the finish line of some of the world’s biggest races, and worked with Remco Evenepoel during his successes the Olympic Games and World Championships, amongst many other races.
David tells us about how he went from working in a bank to turning his passion in to looking after some of the world’s best cyclists
A very special edition of the Wolfpack Howls, as we speak to Justine Ghekiere
Justine took the peloton by storm in 2024, winning the QoM jerseys at La Vuelta Femenina, Giro d’Italia, and Tour de France Femmes, while also taking a famous victory stage 7 of the French race.
In this chat, the effervescent Justine tells about those achievements and how they have changed her life, her journey from a personal trainer riding a static bike during Covid to winning stages on the world’s biggest stage, experiencing the Olympic Games Village and much more.
Happy new year and welcome to the Wolfpack Howls 2025!

After a stellar career as a professional cyclist, that saw her win over 40 races, Jolien has become one of the leading sports directors in women’s cycling, masterminding some of the greatest days in the history of AG Insurance Soudal.
Here she tells us about her love for the sport, some of her favourite days in cycling, what it is like to work some of the best young and talented riders around, and how both AG Insurance Soudal and Soudal Quick-Step are benefitting from being part of the Wolfpack eco system.
We sat down with Louis Vervaeke, one of the most fascinating characters in our team.
A committed family man, Louis tells us about both his love of his wife and children, as well as his other family in the shape of Soudal - Quick-Step.
He also tells us what life is like as a professional cyclist at an altitude training camp, his favourite moments with the team, and the difference in working with two of the world’s most famous cyclists; Mathieu van der Poel and our very own Remco Evenepoel.
