The reserve bank have dropped the official cash rate by a massive 50 basis points from 3% to 2.5% but will this really stimulate the economy and put confidence back into it to get people back out there spending money. We're not too sure and in this we're going to try predict how low this could actually go.

Statistics New Zealand recently updated their household net worth data, and we are about to take you through what you need to have in terms of Net Worth to be considered in the top 1%, 5%, 10% and 50% of wealth in New Zealand. As always with data like this you need to be careful not to read too much into this or compare yourself too much but their are lessons we can take from it too and start thinking about our businesses now and into the future.
