Pricing and quoting is a struggle and exactly what I have struggled with in my business journey. If you aren't quoting for delivery and set up and collection you are losing money from your business and you need to be making sure that you are charging this.
I have done this where I haven't charged delivery setup and collection and it has affected my profit levels immensely so I want to tell you today so that you can charge and quote your customers correctly and make sure you don't make the same mistakes as me.

Chat GPT was first launched at the end of 2022 and it was absolutely crazy the way it took off. I started using it in January 2023 so I’ve now been using it and experimenting with it for just over a year. I want to use this episode to tell you about my findings and how I have used it to help me in my business.
We as business owners have to wear many hats and this tool has helped me to generate ideas, write better copy and generally do things faster to move forward and today I am going to share my journey with ChatGPT, what I have learned and how you can also use this in your business.

Instagram is a platform that is widely used by event professionals simply because it is a purely visual platform where you can showcase what you are doing and your work.
However, Instagram can be very overwhelming because of the noise in the online world and rather than taking action you can end up procrastinating because of the overwhelm.
So, in today’s episode I am going to go through how you can use Instagram to support and be a part of your whole marketing strategy because you are not an online business but are using the online world to show off your work and your portfolio. If you use Instagram to do this, then you can end the overwhelm and be consistent and showcase your work without spending hours and hours on there.
Keep listening, grab a pen and paper and make notes so you can go away and apply this to your business.

When you go to flower school you are taught how to create designs using premade recipes by your tutors. You follow them through to create your aesthetic design because that is what you are learning - the design aspect of floristry and the placement of each bloom in the optimal space.
Then you want to start being creative and you delve into business and all of a sudden this becomes a huge challenge. Everything from types of flowers and species and then the stem counts themselves - this becomes a whole new learning curve leaving some crippled with analysis paralysis to take the next step with ease. This also left me in the early stages of my business not even being able to provide a quote and lost revenue in my business.

Are you at the stage of your business where you are creating a new website or is it time to update your current website because your work and business has evolved and your customer has changed?
When you Google the tips online there is so much out there but you’ll find it’s not specific for wedding florists. Selling wedding flowers is not the same as an ecommerce shop selling shoes, clothes and any other products. Wedding florists need a specific type of website because of the journey we take our customers through.
In today's episode I will be delving into my top 6 pieces of content you need to include in your Homepage to get more enquiries and take your customers to the next step. Grab a pen and paper and sit down with me to make notes so that you can implement this for your business.
Have you ever looked back at your past enquiries and quotes to see how you quoted your customers, what helped you book your clients, what was it that converted your lead into a client and what sort of an experience you gave to your customers.
So in today's episode I will be delving into what I found out when I did this for my own wedding florist business. Grab a pen and paper and sit down with me to make notes so that you can also do this for your business.
Welcome to another episode of the Wedding Florist Podcast. We've written our goals and set intentions to move forward into the new year. Whatever it is that you’re intending to do this year, the great thing is you can start with a clean slate building from where you finished off last year.
I’m here to help you today with your marketing strategy so that you can sell what you have on offer. I’ll help you put a plan together for the year. You may even want to break it down into 3 month stretches so it’s easier for you to focus on. So grab a pen and paper and sit down with me and let’s do this.
So you’ve reflected back on 2023 - looked at what went well, what you would carry on doing because it's still working and what you could potentially change to do something better.
And now it’s natural to start looking at the year ahead, 2024. Some people will look at setting New Year Resolutions and goals. Whatever your approach, the first thing you need to do is get clear on what you want for yourself and your business. This will help you plan properly for the year ahead, visualise what you want to achieve and set yourself the right goals. Then break down your goals step by step, write them down on your laptop or journal and take action. Remember, you can achieve whatever you set your mind to.
Reflection is really important because it helps you to see the progress you’ve made, what you want to do the following year and helps you manoeuvre through your personal life and your business.
In this episode, I reflect on my journey in 2023 and what's worked, what hasn't worked and what I would do differently going forward in 2024.
