What if you didn't see the most important moment of your life coming? What if it didn't feel significant at the time? What if the version of you that exists tomorrow is quietly being shaped by something today? Each week, we'll sit down with someone willing to crack open a moment that changed everything from heartbreaks, breakthroughs and the ordinary becoming the extraordinary.
This is The Tomorrow People Podcast, a show about life defining moments and how people have used these to shape a better tomorrow.
Why did you create the podcast?
After years in thousands of rooms across the country disrupting harmful gender stereotypes and challenging the stories the world tells us about who we should be, and what it really takes to author our own tomorrow, we knew it was time to share some of the incredible things we’ve learned along the way. The answers, and the stories behind them, were simply too powerful to stay within four walls.
With so many extraordinary people, defining moments, and lessons to draw on, we wanted to share that “gold.” Think of it as a recipe or a blueprint: practical insights, lived experiences, relatable stories.
At its heart, this podcast is about recognising that who we are today is already being shaped by the moments that will define our tomorrow.
What do you hope people get out of listening to these stories?
Telling stories is part of being human. Each one is unique, but when shared, they remind us we’re not alone and sometimes can offer the guidance we didn’t know we needed.
Here you’ll find real stories, simple steps, and practical insights, drawn from defining moments and lived experiences, that can help us all think about how we want to author our own tomorrow.
