Not happy with dating Jakob May soon stumbles upon a thermos-looking device with a curious on-off switch that will soon take her, and a new love interest, Ethan, into their own world where they can stop time for everyone else but themselves. With an eternity of time the two explore their new world -- and each other -- seemingly turning their time together into an eternity together, all in the same day. Ethan eventually feels "stuck" and wants out while May, having felt abandoned most of her life by her disinterested mother, doesn't want to be alone.
