If you are unfamiliar with IMPOSTER SYNDROME, it refers to the feeling that arises when you compare yourself. Wikipedia defines it as “a pattern in which an individual doubts their skills, talents or accomplishments and has a persistent internalized fear of being exposed as a fraud".
In this episode, we invite you to adopt a couple of simple practices that can help you remove the pressure of showing a perfect version of yourself by becoming more present and placing your focus on the remarkable people and circumstances that are all around you and available to you all the time.
We also invite you to take part in the #unselfie challenge, here are the steps to participate 👈
Step 1. Take a picture of someone who is in your everyday life and who in a way is a superhero to you 📸
Step 2. Post the picture on social media and explain why you chose this person as a “superhero” and invite others to do the same. Don't forget to use the hashtag #unselfie 🦸♀️
To spread the campaign, copy and paste the following caption.
And feel free to add your own piece of appreciation 👌
"Have you stopped today and appreciated superheroes around you? Take a moment to express your gratitude for others. How?
1. Capture a superhero
2. Frame this person creatively by using an element in the environment or your imagination
3. Post it with a caption
4. Nominate 3 friends (maintain the gratitude chain)
Copy this description and join the movement #unselfie
