The Student Journey
Rijksuniversiteit Groningen
3 episodes
In the Student Journey podcast series, students reflect on their journey through international higher education, and discuss what institutions can do to support students’ learning in international classrooms. In three episodes, our students discuss why they have chosen to study at an international university, what it means to be an international student, whether a diverse learning environment also means inclusion, and what students need and can expect from their teachers. Each of the episodes features excerpts from interviews with teachers and experts from one of the three participating institutions: The University of Groningen, Hanze University of Applied Sciences and NHL/ Stenden University of Applied Sciences. The excerpts are played to the students during the recording to stimulate the discussion. The moderator of the podcast is Isidora Jurisic. The podcast was produced in collaboration with the three higher education institutions mentioned; the project group was managed by Catherine Meissner (UG: TAG, Equipping) and Rina Fokel de Vries (UG: FEB, the Inclusive Teacher).
