The Static Age Podcast
Episode 28 - Kevin Deathless

Deathless webstore started in Ontario, California. It all began with my love for hardcore music. I grew up listening to most of the titles that are offered in our store, and have countless stories of seeing these bands at local shows and concerts. We are now located in Arizona, and are working to open an actual Brick & Mortar Store! We try to carry as many titles as possible, but unfortunately the price of vinyl is so high that we get a few in every month (so we do not load up on large quantities of the same title). We greatly appreciate every single purchase, and every dollar spent at our store. Every customer means the world to us, because you could have easily chosen Amazon or Walmart... but instead, you are here supporting the little guy.. and we appreciate you! Please contact us if you have any questions!

Episode 24 - Chris 'ThrashHeavy' De Leon

Formed in the Summer of 2019, Kryptik Mutation are a group of close friends who share a love for the Extreme Metal, Horror movies, and video games. While the band take their music seriously, they try not to take themselves too seriously and embrace fun in the creation of their art. Every song has some reference or nod to a video game or horror movie, whether a favorite or a unique story they create inspired from those favorites. Musically Kryptik Mutation are a modern savage... A modern production with old and new school aesthetic alike, combining 90's Death/ Thrash with hints of grindcore and slam. Self-admittedly hugely influenced by Suffocation, the band incorporate those Long Island blasts and groove with a Texas Death/Thrash attack!

Episode 21 - Tim Baron

Tim Baron is an artist, illustrator, and skateboarder who resides in Indiana.

He’s designed skateboards for companies like Tony Hawk, The Property Brothers, Birdhouse Skateboards, Plan B, Creature, H-Street, and Super 8 Skateboards.

Tim designed a board for Tony Hawk that was released in the Spring of 2021 and sold out. One year later, Tim was asked to design the official “Hawk Vs. Wolf” podcast board for Tony Hawk and Jason Ellis which also sold out.

Tim has designed several ReAction figures for SUPER7. His turn-around drawings and color ways were used to create such figures as They Live, Lost Boys, Anthrax, King Diamond, and Rancid. Tim also did the card art for the Phantom Star Killer “Red Baron Banshee” edition figure.

In late 2022, Super7 released action figures of Tim’s “Astro Zombie” character as part of their ReAction figure toyline.

The discovery of skateboarding and its accompanying subculture initiated the next phase of Tim‘s creative development. Within the pages of Thrasher magazine, Tim discovered the legendary Bones Brigade, the art of VC Johnson and Jim Phillips, the frantic scratchings of Pushead, and punk rock bands like the Misfits.

Episode 20 - Jeremy Dean (Scream With Me Book)

This is their visual story as told through the original ephemera that helped define their legacy.
