His team has recently completed a scientific paper on chronic pain in Parkinson’s disease using data from over 10,000 participants in APGS, which is currently under peer review.

My guest this week is Dr Kishore Kumar from the Garvan Institute, who is working on the Monogenic Parkinson’s Disease Australia Initiative, connected to the Australian Parkinson’s Genetics Study . This initiative offers free whole genome sequencing and genetic counselling to Australians with Parkinson’s who have a family history and/or young-onset Parkinson’s.
