Mike brings us the brief but incredible track, 'Story 2' by rap group CLIPPING. The song gives the listener a view of the life of a former arsonist and the rapid unraveling of his life in an instant. The hosts discuss the world-building qualities of the lyrics and the in-depth storytelling rapper and actor, Daveed Diggs is able to achieve in such a short song. The success of his storytelling is achieved partly by the fact that he trusts the listener is smart enough to understand and surmise details and premises with only a portion of the picture.
