At nearly 60 years of age and still a weapon of an athlete, Beau tells the story of how he fell in love with Parkour in his late 40’s, was taken in by the young Run LDN crew as one of their own, and had the whole community rally behind a crowdfunder for him when he got injured recently and was out of work. Over December 2023 and January 2024, Parkour UK's connecting communities team conducted a survey to gain some further insight into the UK parkour community. The idea of this survey was to gain insight into the interest the UK parkour community has on both coaching and competition. The survey gave us some insight on age and geographic data. It is worth noting that a sample size of 100 people is very small, and as such, we are not looking to generalise with this report.
