In today’s episode, we talk about three realities that can bring depression into a man’s life: sin, Satan, and circumstances. Yet through all of them, there’s a way to stand strong—by taking hold of God’s Word and clinging to His promises.
Is depression always spiritual—or could your body be sending you signals you’ve been ignoring? In this episode, we examine the surprising connection between physical health and emotional well-being from a Christian perspective.
Wise men love to submit to the highest authority: God. To submit to God, men must submit to His Word and find all of their pleasure in it. This sermon was preached at Harvest Fellowship Church in Boyertown, PA.
This is the manifesto of men who want to have an impact on the world like Charlie Kirk. What should they believe? What should they do long-term? How should they act going forward to change the world? Where are the faithful men who are going to stand up in the midst of this void?
Rage is boiling in the hearts of men after the assassination of Charlie Kirk. What's next? Men must respond well to this historical moment and take the baton to change a generation.
Men ought to learn how to be less of a burden to others and more self-sufficient and indepedent in their work. They ought to be diligent in work and learn to do things themselves if possible.
Two clarifiying points for the present and future of this podcast
Taking out student loans is a modern form of voluntary slavery.
Proverbs warns us: “The borrower is slave to the lender.” Yet millions of young men walk straight into financial bondage by trusting the system instead of God. In this episode, we expose the truth about student loans, challenge the lie that college debt is “normal,” and call men to a better way—hard work, freedom, wisdom, and faith. Don’t hand your future to the banks. Take responsibility, find alternative paths, and live free.
Men should be able to recognize and reject false expressions of masculinity while holding fast to true ones.
Men are made by God to fight for what is true and right—to fight to see God honored and Christ proclaimed and glorified among men. Today’s episode is a charge to the Church to know when to fight in faith. Such fighting is one of the most masculine acts a man can engage in.
Men are manly when they grow their own food. In so doing, they protect their families from harmful, chemically-laced foods, teach their children how to work hard, and learn how to trust in God for provision rather than spending money at a grocery store that cares little to nothing for them or their families.
Not what is normal, but what should be.
Welcome to the Normal Man Podcast. We speak not about what is normal for men in our confused culture, but about what should be.
