Oskar Garberg is the CEO and Co-founder of Standout Coffee in Stockholm along with Alexander Ruas. Cole Torode is the co-owner of Rosso Coffee Roasters in Calgary, Alberta, Founder and Head of Coffee and Operations at Forward Specialty Green Coffee Importers. He is also a seasoned coffee competitor as the 2018/2019 Canadian National Barista Champion, which brought him to place 5th and 3rd in the World Barista Championships during those consecutive years. This year, 2023, he also placed first in the Canadian Brewers Cup Championship.

Lucia Solis (@lluciasolis) is a coffee processing specialist, and this episode includes two separate conversations in one. The first was back in October 2020 from our own homes, and the second one kind of as a follow up later in April 2022 when I visited her and her husband, Nick, on the coffee farm in Colombia.
Lucia has been working specifically with coffee for many years now, but actually comes from a wine background, studying Viticulture and Enology at UC Davis in California, and later training as a winemaker in Napa Valley.
