APRIL RYAN is a go-getter. She is also a motorcycle enthusiast through and through and very active advocate of females in motorcycling.
April founded the East Coast Female Riders, a Facebook group that has grown significantly since inception, and now has almost 10,000 members. She did this to create a "safe space" for female riders to go to, and connect with women who would positively support their motorcycling activities.
She is accredited as a Level 2 Motorcycling Australia coach, the first woman to do so. She also founded her Track Start Training Company which is aimed at addressing not only the women’s issues in the sport, but the giant niche between road riders or nervous track riders and getting into racing/becoming a track day fiend. April sits on the board for Motorcycling Queensland, the State Controlling Body for Motorcycling Australia. She also sits on the sub-committee for Motorcycling Australia’s Women in Motorcycling.

PAUL BUTLER - Paul is a Wellingtonian (located in the north island of New Zealand), who’s 20 year career as a sports and private Physiotherapist has spanned the globe and includes working with track athletes, professional franchises and national teams, rugby league teams and players, rugby union, swimming, netball, and tennis professionals. He is now spending more of his time with motorsport professionals including motorcycle racers.
He is himself an avid motorcyclist with some 40 years of riding under his belt. Current bikes include 2007 Bonneville (daily ride), 2004 Hayabusa, and a 2011 GSXR600 track bike.

RIDE SERIES 006 - MOTORCYCLE PERFORMANCE UPGRADES is the main theme of this Rider Series discussion between Jorge and Chappy (Neil Chappell).
They never claim to be experts in the topics covered here, but they do know a bit based on a collective 80 or so years of motorcycling.
Here they discussed the development of a new Mini GP series in New Zealand and its associated training academy, along with the creation of a Road Race Trust website to provide series information. They explored various technical aspects of motorcycle performance modifications when it comes to preparing a motorcycle for the track. Conversation included discussion about exhaust systems, throttles, rear sets, airbag mods, suspension, brakes, levers etc. Basically they both stressed the importance of quality components for safety and reliability, and choosing upgrades relevant to what you plan to do.
