WHAT WERE THEY THINKING? The toys of yesteryear were not all for the faint of heart. Some kids were maimed, some were killed, but most of us escaped with not much more than a few scars or a slight limp.
Those toys of the Mid Century were not so concerned about safety, but they were about FUN!
