The host, Chris Barker, is truly one in a million.

At the time of recording these episodes Chris has a terminal illness called Creutzfeldt-Jakob Disease, a degenerative brain disorder that leads to dimensia & death...quickly. This podcast is him telling his story with the goal to better understand who he is and what made him the person that decided to sit down in front of the microphone with hopes of encouraging you to be the finest version of yourself. This is in hopes of helping those diagnosed with a terminal illness, loved ones of those who don't have much 'spare time' left grasping to understand why, those that have lost someone from an extremely brash disease, the group left to pick up the pieces of the situation along with their own hearts, etc.

Don't worry though, it's not all heavy...well, kinda...Chris has a strongly seasoned sense of humor that could cut through the heavy sorrowful fog in any room or situation.

He gives advice, answers your questions, gets personal, rambles, and, most importantly, relentlessly opens up. There's something for everybody.
