Before we judge others we are called to look at our own lives first. To strive to open our ears to listen and "step into their shoes" before opening our mouth to criticize someone. And ultimately, be led by mercy and grace, which are true expressions of God's glory.

God reigning through grace is what the Kingdom of God is. His grace begins with Him looking to pour out His love, and is always expressed through His presence. God's grace is always transformative, it doesn't leave you where it found you.

Jesus used the activity of a meal to teach about the Kingdom of God and it's values. He showed that the values of God's Kingdom are often counter to the values of this world. It includes the lowly and discarded, but excludes the self-absorbed and indifferent.
