The Detective is put on retainer for a case he won't talk about that requires that he spent a full day in April trading with various factions throughout Philadelphia in order to fulfill an otherwise impossible task for a client. The results may surprise you.
The Detective has a rough start to their day after a bad conversation with Siobhan O'Malley, and ends up taking a case a day earlier than contracted to blow off steam. Unfortunately, there's another witch on the scene, and they don't see eye to eye in what quickly becomes a no-holds-barred duel in the heart of South Philly.

Who is Claire of the Passage? Who is the Master Vampire? And who sent the blood written letter to Siobhan O'Malley, starting all of this? All is revealed. But that leaves one important question: What is The Detective going to do about it?
The situation quickly becomes dire as The Detective and Claire of the Passage have to protect consecrated ground from a vampiric threat to maintain the peace. But can you really be everywhere at once to protect against anyone? It's up to the Detective to profile the threat and narrow the problem down!
After a rough dip in the Schuylkill River, the Detective has to confront the fact that there's an entire army about to be let loose on Philadelphia, and they're responsible. The real hinky factor: it all might hinge on a spirit in a local graveyard by the name of Claire of the Passage.
A letter written in blood goes to Siobhan O'Malley threatening to expose the Naming Market, and she thinks its the Vampires of Manayunk. Who gets hired to Investigate? None other than The Detective.

The Gilded Statue of Joan of Arc, located where you'd least expect it, has some guards you'd least expect. What's a Detective to do? And once you've got that sorted out, how do you resolve the situation without killing anyone? That's where things get complicated, because it doesn't take The Detective very long to figure out who the real mastermind is behind the entire scheme, and once you know who they are, the question that's left is: does everybody die, does one man die, or can The Detective find a way to thread the needle and get everyone out nice and clean?
It's Time Versus Space in a showdown between The Detective and Johnny Manana. One of them always knows when trouble is about to hit, and the other is always where there's trouble. The Detective is contacted by a pushy client who breaks protocol. For better or for worse though, the client figures out how to follow procedure, and offers a quick five grand to find his wife. The money is just too good, and the client is a werewolf. What could possibly go wrong?
