Feeling safe in Barovia is not a long lived sensation, but safety is relative. Borne away from the castle on wings speedily retreating, the group ponders how they will begin this campaign against Strahd VonZarovich. Many faces, many names have been met on this journey through the misty lands, and many tasks remain uncompleted. A dragon to re-forge, a corpse to betrothe, a library to restock, a sister to entomb...threads to pull and cinch closed the gaps. The heroes relax in semi-safety in the first inn they rested in so many weeks ago. And they notice a familiar green glow growing in the distance.
