Thank you for tuning into the Floor Breakers Podcast (formerly Bleedin' Out w/ Drayco McCoy). I explain why I made the change in the beginning of this interview and I hope you all appreciate it! In this episode I interviewed Indiana native Richie Bux, a rapper, Air Force veteran, and graphic designer that I listen to often and respect a lot. I first heard of Bux in 2018 and since then he's never stopped hustling since he started, he gets better and better every year. Since he currently lives in Las Vegas, Nevada, I had to catch him for this interview while he was in town for our Chreece Hip-Hop Festival in Indy. We talked about his upbringing, his move to Vegas, his recording process, how he invests in his career and much more! Also, this is our first ever filmed episode on YouTube and I am very happy about that- much love to Dominic Espinoza for shooting and editing this for me! & thank you to JoeDirt for mixing the vocals for this episode as well.

This is a conversation I had with my friend Mike of 1Mind at the beginning of the year, he came into town and caught up with me before he went back to his new home in California. Mike is one of 3 great producers from Indianapolis that have joined together and call themselves 1Mind, they've made plenty of hits and waves in the industry over the last few years and the sky is really the limit for these guys. I've known Mike for a long time, and I really enjoy seeing his hard work pay off, it keeps me inspired and motivated to keep going hard. I hope you all appreciate hearing about his journey, and I hope someone out there can be inspired to be great just as I am.

World Famous HotBoys is a Nashville style hot chicken restaurant that was opened by Berk Visual & Victor Gaben, Originally in Oakland. There are now 3 different WFHB locations in California and one new location that recently opened in Indianapolis, IN. I ran into Berk after the spot opened & I had no idea he was the co-owner, it was awesome hearing him tell me about it! Berk & I know of each other through mutual friends pretty randomly actually, & I've crashed at a house that he lived at in CA with my boy Ben (OutHereVisuals, who I've interviewed recently) but I never saw him there at those times. After Berk & Vic opened up this new spot, they hung out in Indy for a while & my boy Chief ended up hitting me up to remind me that I have a podcast & set up this interview for me. We recorded this outside behind the restaurant so there was a lot of noise, my bad in advance, I tried my best to get this mix decent though lol. I'll have a place to record all my shit with perfect quality soon, I'm not trippin. I had a great time having this convo and making the art as well, hope you all love it too! More interviews on the way!

I met Thad for the first time at his Harder Brunch Podcast with my boys Seth Johnson & Clint Breeze (a journalist and musician who I've both interviewed on this go check them out!). I had no idea at all what I was getting into, as Seth had just invited me a few days prior. When I got to Thad's house that afternoon, I expected maybe one meal (since they advised me not to eat breakfast), but suddenly I started receiving plate after plate after plate of amazing dishes from the great chefs in his kitchen. I was high, hungover & confused but I was happy. After we ate, we all went and talked about the food and ourselves on the Harder Brunch podcast & after that I made it a goal to talk with Thad again on my own podcast about that experience and his comedy career in Indy as well. Hope you all enjoy the conversation, it was fun! More episodes coming soon!

In this episode I spoke with my boy Helvie, one of my favorite hardcore vocalists in the city. Helvie is someone I’ve known for a while, knowing him as a great skater in the city and seeing him lead in two great bands in the city. He’s currently killing it in his newest band, L.I.B. (Life Is Beautiful), and we now share an amazing drummer in both of our bands so I figured it was perfect timing for us to chop it up. After all this time I've known Helvie I've still never knew anything about him, like a lot of my friends & guests, so I’m glad we were able to have this conversation finally. These convos mean a lot to me & I hope you enjoy as much as I did!

Ben is one of my favorite photographers & videographers to work with from Indiana, being not only a great communicator but also very good at what he does. After years of traveling, taking risks, building relationships, and putting in as much work as possible, Ben has landed himself in California and made a name for himself. We had this conversation last summer in 2021 and I'm excited for you all to hear his story! Enjoy

When I first saw SoundSpace it was still being put together, I remember how excited I was seeing something at such an early stage. The beginning of things always gets me hype. Fast forward a couple years & they've got a fully functional space with rooms for rehearsal, production & recording open 24/7. This podcast episode was recorded back in August 2021, and now in '22 they've made a few more moves that'll advance them towards their big vision. Tune in to hear us talk about how they put this all together, more episodes dropping very soon!

I've been following the Naptown Collective for a while, its caught my eye pretty early & always held my interest for many reasons. The art, the clothes, the name, & what they represent has always kept me tuned in & excited while watching the clothing line develop & grow over for years! I was very excited to finally sit down with Elliott for the first time while he was visiting Indy from his new home in NY. It was great to discover that we had alot more in common than I imagined, and that he really is for the culture as much as his brand suggests. Elliott is a very motivated, passionate, & artistic person & The Naptown Collective is an amazing line that will be around for years and years to come. Hope you all enjoy this interview as much as I did!

Steven is a all around nice guy with a lot of big ideas. He's good at looking at the things that he's into & figuring out how he can make them better or turn them into business opportunities. Always keeping the culture in mind, people with entrepreneurial mindsets like this always catch my attention, and it was great to talk with Steven about some of his ideas and achievements. One of his biggest accomplishments were his "Lari Pati" music events that he's thrown over the last few years, so he talks about that plus the other things he has to offer in this interview.
