This episode is a bit different from my others. I hope to share with you working knowledge of how the Oscars work and what the Academy is. From there, I'll be creating a discussion of how these members determine the best edited films from the 2016 nominees, a highly competitive year for the Oscars. Afterwards, there will be a brief analysis for each nominee. At the end of the day, the discussion will help conclude whether or not the Academy is deemed useless for too much subjectivity, or a great foundation to share the best of the best films in the world. 

This episode features both an original analysis and research about the film, Burning. It covers a great length of synopsis, commentary, research, analysis and more. Upon analysis of the production, we focus on the imaging and color of the film along with it's relationship to the motifs of the film.
