In 1998, the British performance group Forced Entertainment created a piece that asked the audience to imagine the end of the world, or perhaps it is the start.  Using only words, voices and an eerie piano played over a battered record player, the production made the audience do the dirty work of creation.  And if you didn't like the show - that's on you.
