This question was sent through by Ella Stephen on Instagram. Every single day, I see many bands making the same mistake. They spend thousands of pounds on recording and getting an album out, without even mentioning the months and sometimes years of work involved in the songwriting beforehand. Yet, these same bands will not think about how much money they're going to spend on advertising, to get the word out there. Here are my thoughts on the subject and what I think you should be doing, if you're about to release an album. This also works if you're releasing an EP, single or any form of content.
