3x12 - Team Teaching

If you are a parent of school-aged children or a teacher yourself, you might be aware of some of these words - social learning, collaboration, skill-based, and team teaching.

You see research has shown us that a more lateral way of learning has greater benefits for students and teachers. This involves group discussions, practice by doing, and sharing knowledge with others.

How does this new style of learning change the way the teacher works?

This is where team teaching comes in.

Join Luke with guest teachers - Kira and Amanda to discuss the practice of Team Teaching.

3x11 - Music of my Generation

Music is life, but as we get older we seem to lose touch with the trends of music and dive back into what we might call the classics of our generation. But why?

In this episode, Musician, performer, and songwriting Vanessa Heinitz joins me to shed a little light on why this occurs.

Check out her music at the link below.

3x10 - 30th Anniversary of Terminator 2

Terminator 2 celebrated its 30th anniversary this year.

It's now been thirty years since John Connor and the T-800 successfully stopped the rise of skynet and the war between man and machine..at least until Terminator 3.

Terminator 2 was released 7 years after the original and was met with instant success and has since become widely known as one of the very best sequels of all time. Written by James Cameron and co-writer William wisher, its advances in visual effects enabled this film to still hold up today. But with the terminator, IP swapping hands so many times, with many not so impressive takes does the franchise still have more to tell

Should Terminator 2 have been the conclusion to the Terminator story?

Join Luke, Daniel, and Hayden to discuss Terminator 2 and the Terminator Franchise.

This week I chat with Fire Fighter Captain Keven Verhoven and Stunt Woman Nic Verhoven. We discuss the DCU top solo superhero film Wonder Woman and break down the complexity of stunt work. How did they create the famous beach battle between the Amazons and the Germans.  Wonder Woman was first introduced to us in Batman Vs Superman. Directed by Patty Jenkins this film has gone on to be rated the best of the DC films and the best female superhero in a film. With the Snyder Cut giving Justice league and wonder woman another go at it, let's jump back to the original and break down the action sequences with my special guests.  Have your say via our Instagram @thecuriousaudience.
