SOUTH PARK SEASON 27 EPISODE 3: Reviewed!
Welcome to the show, fans of off-points and points-off alike! You’ll never believe what we have in store for you today! Yet another edition of The Cultural Content Consumption Appraisal Hour! Another #REVIEW1THING edition. Season six. The most controversial of seasons. Famously, most podcasts last an average of six seasons before … joining up with Patreon and absolutely blowing up! So get excited now and stay excited, for the countdown to season 7 has well and truly begun.
What will Season 7 look like in the newest of new eras do you reckon? Let’s speculate in the shownotes. No one reads them so why not. Could it be a continuation of #REVIEW1THING that those who are NEW to the show clearly adore? Or a return to the classic #REVIEW2THINGS format that those who are TRUE to the franchise have been inexplicably missing? Or even a new fangled format no one could even predict. that those in a prospective future audience of millions (made up of those who are both NEW to us AND TRUE to us) would love!? Well, suffice to say, with all these spinning plates … it's hard to see a smooth journey to season 27 episode 3. But hey, that’s funny - that’s *exactly* where South Park got to for this episode we’re reviewing today. So stop worrying about the long term future of your favourite podcast and enjoy this current episode. Happy Halloween.

The boys over on the Blind Wave YouTube channel react to this episode in live time to the cool tune of 75k views … yep, we at HQ with our more considered post-game punditry, talking points and takes are being squeezed out by the LIVE REACTIONS BODY POLITIC: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OVglttUOieQ
The post-show discussion on the official South Park Reddit is thriving. So is the review-discourse around this episode! From YouTube and establishment magazines to reddit and unheralded podcasts such as ourselves. Special FAVE MOMENT FROM THE POD RECORD note for VIP read-the-whole-show-notes-members only: When we thought we were done and the next pitch had been so carefully coordinated with diaries/schedules … only for one of us (who do you reckon?) to realise in the nick of time (quick, the ending theme just started!) that The Traitors (spoiler!!) might require a whole special instead. And so we pivot, literally interrupting the end theme to do so. Oh well. Not like we’re lacking for pitches. And not like we haven’t been trying (and failing? Failing better?) to improv together since a fabled journey to New York for improv classes about 20 years ago. Maybe the lesson here is … there are no accidents. No fuck ups even, pardon my language. Like jazz! As Miles Davis said: "It's not the note you play that's the wrong note—it's the note you play afterwards that makes it right or wrong." Maybe ... without the botched initial pitch ... we never would have thought we owed you a FULL Traitors special? Starting to think this "botch" might have been planned all along ...

PEEP SHOW SEASON 1 EPISODE 1: Reviewed!
You did it and you’re here you c**kmunchers! We are so happy to have you. It’s Thursday, you know what that means. If you’re in England, we hope you are getting through the day with all the rain and winds in one piece with us providing some fun audio content in your headphones. And if you’re not in England, I hope you’re laughing at us for moaning about the weather as per usual lol.
Here is our tweet of the week for some weather-based, yellow warning flavoured context: https://x.com/MetMattTaylor/status/1980858284442636386
Today we’re reviewing the pilot of the show Peep Show. As with most things these days, this pilot premiered on the television over twenty years ago. For fucks sake. We are somehow maintaining our stance of: we are not becoming a Celebrity Traitors recap podcast. That’s right. It’s twenty year old sitcoms for your boys! But don’t worry, we’ll spoil the whole thing and recap every moment for you. That’s right: Chris is doing notes, Chris is doing notes, everybody quiet cos Chris is doing notes! And then we’ll do a sidebar on the Traitors and also spoil that shit for ya hahahah new catchphrase just dropped: The CCCAH Spoils Everything!
So Peep Show. You can watch the pilot here on Netflix (sorry Channel 4, RIP): https://www.netflix.com/watch/70216232
The audio commentary by David Mitchell, Robert Webb, Jesse Amstrong and Sam Bain can be found here. This is a link to the first video out of three but you will find parts two and three on the YouTube channel/in the related videos: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wbxgoH_CMK4
This is the aforementioned four lads discussing the show last year live on the BFI stage. This event should have won all the Fomo Awards last year … how do those work again? Gotta start prepping for the 2025 edition from now haha: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DwO1HP7ZS-c
There is (because of course there is) a fun recap podcast for Peep Show with the great name Podcast Secrets of the Pharoahs and this is their episode recapping the pilot: https://podcasts.apple.com/gb/podcast/s1-ep1-warring-factions/id1445150030?i=1000424868838
There are so many articles about the legacy of Peep Show that have been published in the last few years especially. A lot of cultural appraisals of the show, which we of course appreciate. This is a personal fave of mine. It’s an oral appraisal, of sorts! Love an oral appraisal (of sorts): https://www.theguardian.com/tv-and-radio/2023/sep/18/the-scripts-were-the-funniest-things-id-ever-read-the-stars-of-peep-show-look-back-20-years-later

BBC RADIO 6 HUW STEPHENS 1ST OCTOBER SHOW: Reviewed!
Or HOW I LEARNED TO STOP WORRYING AND NEARLY REVIEW … THE CONCEPT OF TURNING ON THE RADIO FOR A BIT?
Well well well dear listeners and future Patreon and/or YouTube subscribers. You who visit our website cccappraisalhour.show on a weekly basis and continue to draft an e-mail to us at cccappraisalhour@gmail.com waiting for the day when you’re ready to say “long time first time” and holler at your boys. You’re in for a treat!
Today is an episode about what it is in 2025 to discover new art, new music. Much like an important philosophical thesis on the nature of art in the context of the age of consumerism, we boil it down to a few cogent conclusions: understanding yourself is key. With this said, occasionally pushing yourself into unfamiliar or uncomfortable territory is key for growth. A lifelong (and sometimes annoying!) friend who won’t shut up about trying something new is a fun way to engage with life and the aforementioned pushing yourself and is certainly much better than AI. And finally: sometimes turn on the radio. But hey, this episode is also just us chatting absolute bollocks as per. Enjoy.
Huw Stephens is a DJ and on the 1st of October presented an edition of his show on BBC Radio 6, featuring an interview with Kieran Hebden and William Tyler. As of the posting of this podcast, there are 15 more days during which you can listen to it on BBC Sounds too: https://www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/m002jvbz
Here is another show by Huw Stephens (available for 14 more days) featuring Robert Plant’s edition of “The Lyrics That Floored Me” and Bob Dylan’s “Masters of War” as mentioned on our show today: https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/m002jv7w
A fun interview with Huw Stephens talking about music discovery can be listened to here: https://byta.com/howwelisten/podcast/a-conversation-about-music-discovery/
Kieran Hebden and William Tyler’s album 41 Longfield Street Late ‘80s can be listened to here: https://music.apple.com/us/album/41-longfield-street-late-80s/1809421971
As it was the first song that prompted the opening of the Shazam app and one that both your intrepid co-hosts enjoyed, it is definitely worth a link in the ol’ shownotes! This is "Stitches” by HAAi (feeling like Huw Stephens now, introducing them like this lol maybe the CCCAH should be more of a radio show …): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QOENoX1c0VI
As I can’t seem to stop bringing up his chat with Ezra Klein, let me update the Kyle Chayka references with a talk he gave at the Verbier Art Summit earlier this year covering all the topics! You know the ones, our favourite ones. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i3rOZwmih7U&t=16s

I know some of you are even fans of podcasts about making podcasts (shout out our K-Pop Demon Hunters episode lol, iykyk) because I am. Listening to them anyway, not recording them necessarily lol.
This week we are watching a documentary based on a book by Peter Biskind. We all discuss many other things. Tangents and sidebars galore. Even the Culturally Current Cold AND HOT takes you’ve all come to adore, squeezing the 30 second game out of the cold open in this case. THE STUDIO SEASON 1 EPISODE 1: Reviewed!
It’s Thursday morning, you know what that means! It means it’s showtime baby. Let’s start the show. The show that reviews one thing. And only one thing, ever, really. And what is that one thing, ever, really? OUR OWN SELVES, REALLY, AND OUR FRIENDSHIP! As Cat Burns taught me on the Jamie Laing podcast: all relationships are but mirrors anyway. And isn’t that all that art is anyway? A process of reviewing YOUR SELF or YOUR OWN THOUGHTS AND FEELINGS on a certain subject or in certain scenarios etc etc. Sure, whatever, anyway, this isn’t the thirty second game. These are the show notes. Let’s get show-notey. It’s a podcast about a tv show about making movies *movie mogul voice*! What an opening paragraph this is. For the true to this rather than the new to this, I would think.
So what is that one thing we're reviewing today? Today it is Seth Rogen's new show The Studio. Another pilot special. Season 6. The season of pilots. That makes sense. And it's the season of current stuff, to be fair. It has been a rip roaring start to the new era, don't you think? Nothing but pilots. It's like pilot season here on the CCCAH. Pitch us your pilot if you're working on something, we'll probably review it at this rate.

AMERICAN MOVIE: Reviewed!
Our BRITISH PODCAST is reviewing AMERICAN MOVIE today! And it’s not just any American Movie … it’s THE American Movie directed by Chris Smith and released in 1999. One of the 1,000 Greatest Movies Ever Made according to the New York Times. Will we one day feature in the 1,000 Greatest Podcasts Ever Made? Or will the chronicling of our rise and fall as a podcast empire on an award winning podcast called WHATEVER HAPPENED TO CHRISTOPHER AND JEFFREY be the podcast that features on the New York Times list? Seems slightly more likely lol. Ooh maybe we should make that podcast ourselves! A parody radio-drama type thing. Like Serial but instead of important, it will be stupendously stupid. Yes, that sounds like us.
Anyway, we are really getting into the weeds of the Review One Thing MID-SEASON … as we as a podcast-lovin’-community transition from summer (say it ain’t so, summer don’t go!) to Autumn. Just as good a time to be listening to (and producing) podcasts! So whether Review 1 Thing devolves into a Review 8 things carnival or solidifies into a concisely formatted and guest-friendly operation that rivals Off Menu, let’s enjoy Season 6 in all it’s unique glory while it is here.
You can watch American Movie here on the best place on the internet: https://archive.org/details/american-movie-1999

A thoroughly unique points system finally sorted jeez, only took us six seasons. How does that sound, Jonny?

THE PAPER SEASON 1 EPISODE 1: REVIEWED!
Good morning CCCAH fans! It is the hour and the hour is upon us. It is time to culturally consume and then to appraise content. It is a ritual, six seasons in, really. And as we amend the ritual to stay current and up to date with the times (#Review1Thing is thriving) we ask you to join us and watch along! Let’s slay queens, let’s eat that, let’s smash it and let’s start the show.
How are we feeling about #Review1Thing so far anyway, show fans? Anyone feeling completely vindicated yet? Speaking of complete (strong, no?) vindication: stay tuned to see what Christopher is gloating about in the show title lol.
So has anyone ever heard of a show called The Office? Damn, that’s wild. Neither have we. Sounds boring. Well a quarter of a century since (that’s right, you read that right) Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant’s mockumentary first aired on the BBC, the legacy and the lineage continues with yet another Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant produced vehicle. And still, as usual, my main question is: wait, do these lads even talk to each other anymore!? Crying emojis. Four of them, even.
This week we are reviewing season 1 episode 1 of The Paper.

THE FOUR SEASONS (1981): REVIEWED!
WARNING: WE SPOIL THE WHOLE MOVIE!
But besides that, it’s a chill episode. It warms up as it goes, maybe starts off more chill than usual lol but it definitely gets warmer as we get going. Much like the movie we review. And much like friendships in general.
Now the question this week, really, is: are you really ready for the #ReviewOneThing era to begin in earnest? Well stay tuned then lol because we’re almost there. We’re still finding our groove, sure, finding our feet as it were. But we’re getting there. Week to week diving more and more deeply into the art we criticise and love in equal measure.
This week is another movie week here on the progrum. The Four Seasons was written and directed by Alan Alda in 1981 and Tina Fey always meant for us to go back and discover it when she adapted it for her new series, right!? Right? And who among you are actually doing the work and doing your homework? That’s right, barely any of you! So of course we will do it for you. Of course we follow up the Cat Burns reviewing episode (super trendy singer) with this shit, right? Could we BE being any more triple-C AH, right now or what!?
Sit back and relax and don’t come to the shownotes for the scores, check out the website for the scores at cccappraisalhour.show

EARLY TWENTIES BY CAT BURNS: REVIEWED!
Listen Cat Burns ok (a “you did it, you’re here” to you and yours) I know you’re wicked and you’re doing your thing. And the lack of capital letters is your intentional choice as a gen z artist and I respect that. But we here at the cccah and in the cccahc do things a little differently, ok? We capitalise EVERY piece of art we’re reviewing in the first line of the shownotes. It’s just the deal, ok? It’s to catch the eye and be clear and just, yeah … forgive us ok? In every other reference in this show note (and the show itself, no matter how begrudgingly) we will refer to the lack of capitals you have consciously chosen in your debut album title. I am curious. Will this continue throughout what I hope is a long and fruitful career? Or will it flame out, like so many gen z innovations seem to do? Only time will tell.
We hope you enjoy today/s episode that answers the question so many loyal listeners have been asking for ages, namely, whether we have ever before had a (*POTENTIAL SPOILERS TO FOLLOW IN COMPLETING THIS RHETORICAL QUESTION*) draw episode consisting of two homers? Damn that’s wild.

Special FAVE MOMENT FROM THE POD RECORD note for VIP read-the-whole-show-notes-members only: When Christopher almost admitted to giving something a 0 in our 1-5 score system but then refused to admit what for but then admitted it was a joke but then also maybe it wasn’t. Good stuff. Also Christopher refusing to go viral and specify who sucked at All Points East. Lame. We’re ready for beef man, we’re six seasons deep. Let's go. Off Menu podcast, where you attttttt???

KNEECAP and WALLACE AND GROMIT: VENGEANCE MOST FOWL: Reviewed!
Welcome to Season 6 of the Cultural Content Consumption Appraisal Hour! It’s been five seasons in the making. All this lead up to #ReviewOneThing and we’re kicking it all off with … a CLASSIC #ReviewTwoThings Thing! Kneecap and Wallace and Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl. Two of the best new (new-ish) movies the pod has covered in a while. That’s right, spoiler: IT’S A HIGH SCORING EPISODE FOLKS!
We also spoil both movies. And that’s a SPOILER lol. So strap in for a 30-second-game-less (had to briefly review Green Man 2025, so there is all the summer fest coverage you could shake a stick at right there) cold open and a healthy dose of how-political-are-we-going-to-get-probably-not-very discourse. Also more merch ideas. Your boys in american football helmets, anyone?

Special FAVE MOMENT FROM THE POD RECORD note for VIP read-the-whole-show-notes-members only: Christopher replying to my essay in the google doc. It was sweet. Because, as Wallace said, and I will quote him one final time today lol … “I can live without inventing … but I can’t live without … me best pal!” I think in our case podcasting is “inventing”. THE BOYS MAKE A MIXTAPE TO CELEBRATE FIVE SEASONS!
It’s another heatwave special! It’s another in-between-seasons special! It’s a music special! Is this the most special special we’ve ever special’d? The definitive answer is: YES or at least MAYBE or like at least TOP 5!
Today we will be making a playlist for you in live time. Oh what a treat for your ears. Does it get any better? You will listen to us look back through EVERY MUSICAL PITCH WE HAVE MADE DURING THE EXISTENCE OF OUR SHOW THUS FAR and we will thoroughly examine all the options on all the albums/singles we have reviewed over the years. You will learn so much. It is basically a masterclass in the art of making a mixtape. Up there with one of the great scenes in all of cinematic history: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IzQwbRdh5Ts
It will end up as a cassette and/or compilation CD by the time season 6 is done and the Patreon is up and running and the merch has a top 10 selling items page, just you WAIT! But back to today’s show. It is a special-podcast-episode concept birthed by Christopher Anousis and executive produced by Jonathan Mortemore and then I sort of showed up at the end there to chat some shit about some songs.
The playlist (for the mixtape) on Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/playlist/2qdkPjVsjoeil45ChYxuqC?si=3433c6d088fa4664

APOLOGIA NUMBRERO UNO: Sorry Ali/Glass Animals. When we boiled down our picks to the 26 picks, we left you off. Despite having just agreed on the inclusion after much debate. This was an oversight. Hence the last-minute addition of an expanded edition. Lol.
APOLOGIA NUMERO DUO: To the genre of jazz, we apologise for not being in that headspace right now. You’re better than that. We’re better than that. We’ll see you at some point during seasons 6-10 and hey, maybe we’ll become a jazz band instead of a podcast we’ll end up loving you so much. Doodly doo bop doo skiddly boo boppadee dooo bahhhh … Christopher, do you want to go see Brubeck plays Brubeck or nah sonnnn: https://unionchapel.org.uk/whats-on/brubeck-plays-brubeck
Special FAVE MOMENT FROM THE POD RECORD note for VIP read-the-whole-show-notes-members only: Before we started recording Christopher told some amazing stories about Ozzy Osbourne’s funeral, his review of the movie Uncut Gems, his love of the new South Park episodes and his theory behind why I do probably have a microphone stand even though I don’t think I do. This man wants all the gold to be off-pod sometimes, I don’t know what to tell you. https://unionchapel.org.uk/whats-on/brubeck-plays-brubeck

GREEN MAN FESTIVAL PLAYLIST BY JEFFREY BAHLO and HAPPY GILMORE 2: Reviewed!
Ok season 5 fans. We’re finally wrapping this shit up. Season 5 has been a controversial time, we’re not going to lie to you. We’re not going to front. Even more than in previous seasons … it’s been a shit show. But here we are. It’s the end of the season. Fucking finally. Let’s go. We’re reviewing a playlist festival. The fact that this playlist got made and pitched is such a feat of investment and generosity, almost as kudos-worthy as the surprise reveal that will cap off this, the final episode of season 5. And yeah, a movie also; the number one movie on Netflix so that is as basic-ass a pitch as we’ve ever seen. Ok, so … WTF ARE THE SCORES:
Jeffrey ahead by 1.
We think.
So if Christopher wins today. A draw.
If Jeffrey wins. A Jeffrey win.
And if the boys draw. A Jeffrey win.
STAKES! A dead rubber, low key … with A BIT OF LIFE LEFT IN THE OL’ GIRL!

Hey there podcast fanatics! It’s time to listen to another episode of the cccappraisalhour.show
Incorrect lineal scoreline for this season says the scores are:
Jeffrey: 12
Christopher: 12
But we know that's wrong. Christopher and Jonny insist I am ahead. I am the only one saying I'm not ahead. 2025 is the weirdest year on record in so many different ways I can't deal.
Anyway.
We all know a 24th episode of a season when we see one, right? It’s giving … finale. End of an era. There is a season turn turn turn etc. But hey … maybe season 5 isn’t quite over yet … ?
STAY TUNED AND LISTEN TO THE EPISODE BECAUSE THERE MIGHT BE MORE TO COME YET DURING THIS OVERLY LONG FIFTH SEASON OF OURS!
Hey! Is that my first ever CCCAH episode spoiler in the shownotes, kind of spoiling the insane SWERVE you will experience at the end of the episode? Well maybe. Thankfully no one reads the show notes! Hehe. And even if they did, I don’t mind. Spoilers are fun. They are inevitable. There is actually an art to riding out spoilers, engaging with them without letting them dampen your experience. And if Christopher does mind … I don’t mind that either lol; he’s used to my flagrant abuse of our spoiler/ticking rules over the years now so. He’ll live.
Anyway, speaking of spoilers, might as well mention: we defo spoil Ricky Stanicky. You’ll live also lol!!
Now let’s talk about watching things and laughing at things and laughing *with* each other about things and what we learned along the way (Nanette) and the mindless fun we had that also has value somehow (the Ricky one).
Watch Nanette here: https://www.netflix.com/watch/80233611

Watch interviews with the director and stars of Ricky Stanicky from the YouTube channel “The Nerds of Color” here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fF-GOCfCz5A
Special FAVE MOMENT FROM THE POD RECORD note for VIP read-the-whole-show-notes-members only: I continue to hold my new microphone perfectly. I only need to be told once or twice to not just lean my entire face on it when I’m having a bit of a posture-break. For the most part we’ve got placement strictly on the centre of the ol’ mouth line. And an inch from the mouth. So very Gary Neville-chic of me.

Hello hello podcast people! This is another edition of your favourite podcast, The Cultural Content Consumption Appraisal Hour. This week we’ll be reviewing all sorts of shit. But mainly sitcoms. American sitcoms. One super old one in its first flush of life and one super new one in it’s seventeenth bloody season. So it’s all kinds of contrasts on the show this week.
More contrasts include one tall host and one short host. Not that you can hear this on this (currently!) audio-only programme. One of us wants to have sidebars and tangents and do bits. The other one means business and wants to do the show we have promised the people we will do. One of us wants to believe the scores that are true. The other one wants to also believe those, after he learns that these scores put him slightly ahead lol. But really, only one of us wants to win the show. The other is happy just to have a show. Who is who? Actually I don’t even know anymore. But I’m sure that at this point we’re both actually kinda n’aww [insert a Zach Braff monologue regarding something life affirming over some indie rock here].
Now for one final time (PLEASE???) let's see the continuity of the UNOFFICIAL AND VERY WRONG SCORES:
Jeffrey: 11
Christopher: 12
Right? Every one see those. Well ... refer to Jonny's IMPARTIAL WEBSITE cccappraisalhour.show for some scores that have not been corrupted by dark money and podcasting polititcs!

Welcome to the podcast every body! This week we have quite an episode for you. It's full of content. When culture is reviewed, that is content. The culture itself, I find it tricky calling 'content'. But here we are, you know? It's all content. All the content goes in the content-hole for the content-delivery to the content-consumers. But here we are. We are the last line of defence between the content-construction form of capitalism that is threatening to wipe all the art out from all of our lives and our meek and tiny souls ... craving connection ... soul ... however you define a soul. I define it as something you can redeem on a weekly basis by tuning in to the latest episode of The Cultural Content Consumption Appraisal Hour. L. F. G.
So, what are the scores so far? We actually get to the bottom of the controversy in today's episode but before we reach some sort of confrontational end-point ... I will continue to pay tribute to my FULLY WRONG-ASS SCORES AAAAAGGGHHHHH:
Jeffrey: 10:
Christopher: 12

TANGLED UP IN BLUE BY BOB DYLAN and RUNNING POINT SEASON 1 EPISODE 1: Reviewed!
Wimbledon is nearly over already! It’s like mid-July. Out of bloody nowhere. What is actually happening. Christopher has seen Lana Del Rey twelve times and has all the merch and is now in Italy and Jeffrey is doing these shownotes in his boxers the night before the episode goes live, as per usual. What a time. We’ll look back on these days one day. Definitely. Maybe. Wink. Truly though, word play, puns and references aside … these are the days of our lives.
And this is the website of our lives: cccappraisalhour.show
For real though, listen up! We’ve got more heatwave specials for you! Coming off our #Viral moment when Christopher mistook Will Smith (not that one) for Will Smith (that one) we’ve returned for a third bite at the single-song-review cherry. First there was Raye, then there was Doechii and now there is … Bob Dylan (again)! That is a weird list. Only on the CCCAH!
Next up we have a sitcom. Could you get any more CCCAH than Kate Hudson starring in a Mindy Kaling sitcom and your boys being like “UH YES PLEASE” and the internet being like “UMMM” but your boys are still like “NOPE TOO LATE, YES PLEASE!”
So, what are the scores so far? No one believes these are the real scores but here they are any way hahahahahaahahahahahahahahahahaha:

Christopher: 12

Special FAVE MOMENT FROM THE POD RECORD note for VIP read-the-whole-show-notes-members only: Jeffrey was babysitting Loui while recording and instead of causing a ruckus asking for food or wanting to go outside … Loui simply … slept in Jeffrey’s lap like a good boy. Special FAVE MOMENT FROM THE POD RECORD note for VIP read-the-whole-show-notes-members only: We sang a lot during the pre-production this week. Mainly Leann Rimes, despite Christopher shouting out Whitney during the episode proper. Some of this footage might have leaked on our socials. NOT GOING OUT SEASON 14 EPISODE 4 and ALLY MCBEAL SEASON 1 EPISODE 1: Reviewed!
It’s podcast Thursday boys and girls! You know what that means!? It means it’s time for us to do a thirty second game (inspired by one of the pitches) introducing the podcast to the new to this and the true to this. Then it means it’s time for us to review the culture we consumed this past week, ranging from a new episode of a British sitcom to … an old episode of an American … kinda sitcom? Ok and then what? And then it means it’s time for us to guess how the other will SCORE HIS REVIEW! Whoever comes closest will win. And then we’ll pitch new stuff for next week. Lovely jubbly.
But speaking of winning *sigh* … if Christopher continues his streak (check cccappraisalhour.show for a full rundown of the scores with 100% accuracy … as opposed to these shownotes … which some have said have super QUESTIONABLE ACCURACY … apropos of nothing you can find our website designer Jonny Mortemore at https://sites.google.com/view/jvd-games/home) the rest of the season will be a dead rubber and a bummer. I’m just telling you Christopher. A dead rubber AND a bummer. If you keep winning. So continue to guess wisely, I guess!
SCORES SO FAR THIS SEASON ARE:
Jeffrey: 8
Christopher: 11
Some of you may be thinking hey … but … are those scores wrong? And to those of you who would say that, I would say … chill out. It’s summer. Go look at the sky. Meditate. Eat an apple. Not the core, put it in the bin. But like, be cool. And if it’s all my fault, remember: forgiveness was voted the top virtue of all the virtues. I’m just saying. Like, every religious person voted and the count is in!

OUTNUMBERED SEASON 5 EPISODE 6 and ABBOTT ELEMENTARY SEASON 4 EPISODE 9: Reviewed!
What are we doing this week? Honestly. God Only Knows. Shout out Brian Wilson. Rest In Peace.
But anyway, neither of us were on top of our culturally current cold (AND HOT!) takes enough to pitch a Beach Boys album in tribute this week. Nope, that’s right, instead, we’ve got yet another accidental TV shows special! Woooo and hooo = yayy and slayyy. That is how our predominantly Gen Z listenership talk, right? Anyway, what are scores saying today? These are probably wrong (please if the website cccappraisalhour.show could just save usssss that would be greeeeaat) but this where we’re at.
SCORES SO FAR THIS SEASON ARE:
Jeffrey: 8
Christopher: 10
Please. Christopher. Stop. You’re taking this “overtaking me” thing too far now. I know you were doing it as a bit but it’s not funny anymore, it’s just hurtful 🙁
But anyway lol and lmao and back to the show!
