NO, I WON'T GO HANGOUT W/ THE HOMELESS FOR CLICKS AND VIEWS!!
A local lawyer and content creator tried to bait me into going and eating with the homeless people of Jackson so I can understand their situations better because that's what he does. As if he's the first and only person to ever take the time to have conversations with them and try to hear their stories.

JACKSON THUG THREATENS TO SHOOT & KILL JD VANCE & TATE REEVES
A Jackson, Mississippi thug by the name of Bryce Green commented ""someone take the headshot now" under Gov. Tate Reeves photo of him welcoming JD Vance & his wife to Mississippi yesterday. I demand law enforcement treat this like they would if he was a white conservative making the same comments about a Democrat politician.

I'M TIRED OF THIS SH!T (Ep #10,89)
I'm fed up with people trying to guilt me into doing things like they're they only people to ever do anything for the homeless or less fortunate in the Jackson area. The first segment of the show is me going scorched earth on this issue then that just sets the tone for the rest of the episode.

LYNN FITCH COMMITS POLITICAL SUICIDE W/ CAPITOL POLICE / JAYLEN LEWIS CASE
In this segment of The Clay Edwards Show, host Clay Edwards launches a sharp critique against Mississippi Attorney General Lynn Fitch's office for what he calls a "witch hunt" prosecution of two former Capitol Police officers, Frederickson and Reinholt, over the fatal shooting of Jalen Lewis. Edwards highlights that the AG's own expert witness reviewed the evidence and concluded the use of force was justified and not excessive, pointing to photos of Lewis with guns and drugs at the scene. He expresses shock at the charges, framing it as unnecessary "conservative-on-conservative violence." Edwards also blasts WLBT reporter CJ Lemasters for an article that refuses to acknowledge the officers' innocence, insisting they "didn't do it." The rant underscores Edwards' support for the Capitol Police's role in maintaining order.

FLAMETHROWER OF A SHOW (Ep #1,084)
Join Clay Edwards on this episode of The Clay Edwards Show, broadcasting live from the Men's Health and Women's Wellness Studios on 103.9 WYAB in Flora, Mississippi. As the station gears up for a massive upgrade to 50,000 watts, Clay discusses the excitement of reaching new areas like Itta Bena, Southaven, Oxford, Starkville, and Copiah County, aiming to dominate central Mississippi's talk radio scene.   Clay gives shoutouts to influential figures who've shaped his career: Scotty Ray of the Scotty Ray Report for his news coverage and online advice, Kim Wade for radio and success tips, and Michael Wimberly for business insights. He also reflects on learning from others' mistakes and the value of OG guidance for young creators.   Dressed in a FAFO hoodie (soon to be restocked), Clay shares his laid-back Mississippi style and looks forward to his first Good Ol' Boys party—a big political hoedown in Oxford with heavy hitters like Lynn Fitch. Despite recent criticisms, he's eager to mingle and make waves.   Responding to a listener's Facebook query, Clay dives into the shocking mid-season departure of coach Lance Pogue from Brandon High School football. Sources suggest a toxic environment, culture clashes, and player unrest led to the split, despite high hopes for a state championship. Clay praises the Bulldogs' dedicated fan base and alumni, emphasizing that while players earn wins, the community's commitment deserves a title—it's just a matter of time.   After a quick break, Clay unleashes a fiery critique of Attorney General Lynn Fitch's office for pursuing charges against former Capitol Police officers Frederickson and Reinholt in the Jalen Lewis shooting. Citing evidence from their own expert witness, Clay argues the force was justified, not excessive, and slams the "witch hunt." He also calls out WLBT's CJ Lemasters for refusing to accept the officers' innocence, labeling it conservative-on-conservative drama.   Tune in for Clay's unfiltered takes on local news, sports, politics, and more. BREAKING NEWS: Expert finds indicted former Capitol Police officers did not use excessive force
In this episode of The Clay Edwards Show, we dive into a controversial officer-involved shooting in Jackson, Mississippi. A retired FBI expert, Jeffery Artis, has deemed the deadly force used by Capitol Police officers Michael Rhinewalt and Steven Fredrick as justified during a 2022 traffic stop that killed Jaylen Lewis. On September 25, 2022, officers attempted to pull over Lewis's Jeep, linked to auto burglaries. The vehicle struck a police car and accelerated toward the officers, prompting them to fire. Lewis was armed with handguns, an assault rifle, and drugs were found inside. Despite the officers' fears for their lives—backed by witness accounts, including passenger Selena Hayes, who said Lewis was fleeing, not targeting them—Rhinewalt and Fredrick face manslaughter charges from the Attorney General's office, indicted in April 2025.Artis, drawing on Supreme Court standards, argues the response was objectively reasonable, viewing the vehicle as a deadly weapon. Join us as we unpack the evidence, expert analysis, and implications for police accountability.

BREAKING - RANKIN TEEN CHARGED AS ADULT IN BRANDON DRIVE-BY SHOOTING
On October 19, 2025, around 2:26 p.m., the Rankin County Sheriff’s Department responded to a shooting at Bridgewater Apartments, 500 Avalon Way, Brandon, MS 39047, where a juvenile male had been physically assaulted by two assailants and then shot at as they fled in a silver four-door car. Investigators processed the scene, collecting shell casings, and reviewed surveillance video confirming the assault and gunfire. Based on evidence and witness testimony, 16-year-old Xavior Balderas was identified as the suspect; a search warrant executed at his home around 8:31 p.m. recovered his face mask and clothing from the incident. On October 20, Balderas made his initial court appearance, charged as an adult with Drive-By Shooting and Tampering with Physical Evidence, with the investigation ongoing and further arrests possible.

CAUGHT ME SLIPPIN? (Ep #1,082)
As the host of The Clay Edwards Show, I'm back in the saddle after a few unplanned days off, feeling like I've been shot out of a cannon. This episode hits hard right from the start—I open up about the sudden loss of my best friend Corey McDonald, who passed away unexpectedly at just 48 years old. It knocked me flat, and I share how grief caught up with me in unexpected ways, like when I instinctively reached for my phone to call him after a chaotic weekend incident, only to realize he's gone. I talk about speaking at his funeral for the first time ever, choking back tears while sharing stories, and how everyone processes loss differently—some hit the field like Brett Favre after his dad's passing, but for me, trying to host a show mentally right after would've been a disaster.   We dive into that viral gas station confrontation from Saturday night, where some clown ambushed me with a phone in my face, hyping himself up for clicks and views while doing nothing but flapping his gums. I break it down play-by-play: I was just grabbing a six-pack after a quick stop at a birthday party, minding my own business, when this studio gangster tried to play tough. He kept repeating "caught you slippin'" but backed down quick when he realized he wasn't getting the reaction he wanted—no violence, no slurs, just me calling him out for what he is. I explain why I didn't escalate: life's about choices, and proving toughness for the internet isn't worth jail or worse. Half the online crowd says I did the right thing, keeping my cool legally; the other half calls it getting punked. But real talk—I ain't changing a thing. If anything, this fuels me to go harder against the left-wing nuts and attention-seekers. They want me to stop? They'd have to kill me, because quitting wouldn't make them back off anyway. I'm not cowering; I'm doubling down on calling out culture rot, absent fathers, and trends in crime that nobody else wants to touch.   Shifting gears, we tackle the pro-Hamas protests right here in Jackson—yes, in Fondren, with signs like "Honk for Hamas." I question who's funding these terrorist supporters and tie it back to local figures who've done similar stunts before. It's unreal how this ties into broader fights, like Israel-Palestine: you start a war, you don't dictate the terms of surrender. That's like that gas station fool trying to shake hands after realizing he'd punked himself out.   In the second hour, we cover breaking news: a seventh death from the Leland mass shooting and another arrest in the Heidelberg homecoming incident—all black-on-black violence that's heartbreaking but needs spotlighting. I rant about the No Kings rally, a cosplay fiasco with protesters in weird costumes, some clueless about why they're even there, others calling for violence against MAGA folks. It felt scripted, dissipating fast like they were off the clock—nothing organic, just gaslighting. We also discuss Donald Trump possibly commuting Puff Daddy's sentence—a massive mistake in my book. No pandering; let these folks face consequences for once.   Wrapping up, I touch on school scandals: a Clinton basketball coach getting 30 years for sexual assault versus a DeSoto County lesbian pastor getting house arrest for the same—unfair sentencing that screams privilege. And don't get me started on woke teachers pushing trans flags and safe spaces in Mississippi classrooms; it's grooming, plain and simple. Plus, a fresh Kamala Harris word salad on "hope" that's as incoherent as ever.   This is unfiltered, no-sugar-added talk—strap in for the reality check. Catch the full episode on Apple, Spotify, or wherever you get your podcasts. I'm Clay Edwards, fighting cancel culture and the soul of America, one raw truth at a time.
