Welcome to ''The CEO's Laundry,'' the first coaching podcast for CEOs.

In this episode, I coach Eric Espinosa, co-founder and ex-CEO of Coconut VA and founder of Vacation Laptopless.

As a digital nomad, Eric runs his companies remotely while exploring the world. He helped co-found Coconut VA, a virtual assistant staffing agency, which bootstrapped to $1 million ARR in 17 months. He's now focused on building Vacation Laptopless, a work-life balance brand that provides retreats for 6-8 figure founders.

The Power of Thinking Bigger | A Coaching Session with Thane Lawrie, Vice-Chairman of Scarf

Welcome to ''The CEO's Laundry,'' the first coaching podcast for CEOs.

In this episode, I coach Thane Lawrie, former CEO and Vice-Chairman of Scarf. He is also the current Chairman of The Haven.

—

Thane has experience in leadership and executive roles. He is also a devoted Buddhist, which makes him a profoundly inspirational and mindful leader (moreover, he wrote an excellent book entitled “The Buddhist CEO”).

Yet, underneath it all, he is also a human facing inner and outer challenges. Recent health issues, and a new career direction, have helped him re-create himself.

In our conversation, we explore how he can keep reconnecting to his heart's desires and use conscious intentions to go for bolder dreams he has in mind without apparent effort.

The CEO's Laundry
Being a Mindful CEO | A Coaching Session with Ben Sampson, CEO of WeHero

Welcome to ''The CEO's Laundry'', the first coaching podcast for CEOs.

In this episode, I coach Ben Sampson, co-founder and CEO of WeHero.

—

WeHero designs, plans, and executes corporate volunteer, team building, and employee engagement experiences that create social impact.

Ben's past experience includes leading product teams, building startups, and studying sustainable business strategy at Harvard.

In this episode, Ben opens up about unintentional challenges that can appear in the office, creating questioning within the team and within himself.

The question we explore is, "How to create a mindful culture, without authoritarian leadership, that makes everyone feel heard and safe?" For context, the question takes place in a setting where some employees work remotely while others must work in the office.

Ben leaves the conversation smiling, with increased clarity and the reminder that he already has within him all the tools to create a win-win for everyone around him, including himself.

The Courage to Be True to Yourself | Danny Carlson, CEO of Kenji ROI

—

On the eve of his 30th birthday, Danny decided to shift his identity to become a better version of himself. He is committed to more peace and freedom.

In his quest, one of the ways that he has identified to be more of who he wants to be is to make less money/have less professional responsibilities.

During our conversation, we come to realize that his goal to make less money to better himself is partially built on a limiting belief/fear.

Together, we explore deeply the WHY of the decision for his personality change, and how he can achieve it without being impacted by the judgment of others.

The CEO's Laundry
Change Yourself to Change The World | Joanna Picetti, CEO of JP.Network

Welcome to the first coaching podcast for CEOs. In this episode, I coach Joanna Picetti, the CEO of JP.Network.

—

Joanna is driven by a futuristic and bold vision: making people of Earth global citizens of Earth (going beyond our current national citizenships) by using blockchain technology.

At the beginning of our session, Joanna expresses her emotional side. Her passion and mission are so fully alive that they show up through tears.

As we're going through our session, my responsibility is to refocus on her, not her problem/challenge. I'm working on making her open herself to inner change. But as the discussion goes through, she expresses her reluctance to do so.

At the end, Joanna expresses to me her resentment toward my coaching, which I'm open to. I'm used to that as a coach: CEOs not being willing to be challenged as much as they thought they would.

And as our time together comes to an end, a beautiful insight emerges that has already started to change her life (watch until the last minute to get it).

—

To better understand the coaching session, I advise you to watch the entire episode.

Here is an overview:

🔹00:00 Introduction

🔹04:40 Joanna's main challenge

🔹06:30 Coaching Joanna on her emotional support

🔹11:29 Coaching Joanna on changing herself to change the world

How to Use Imagination & Visualization to Grow Your Startup | Rashik Hoque, CEO of Onethread | #004

Welcome to the first coaching podcast for CEOs. In this episode, I coach Rashik Hoque, the CEO of Onethread.

—

Rashik lives in Bangladesh, where he is currently building Onehtread.

As a business founder at the earliest stages of the company, his mind is focused on the day-to-day practicality and operations of the business.

Doing so, he is focused on rationality, and he sees himself as someone rational too. His cultural environment also encourages him to have more of a rational than a creative mind.

During our conversation, I invite him to see how creative he is, how much he makes use of his imagination and how much that helps him be a brilliant entrepreneur, despite being rational at the same time.

And not only do we explore this side of him, but I also challenge him to use his imagination and visualization to grow his business toward his brightest dreams.

—

To better understand the coaching session, I advise you to watch the entire episode.

The Power of Vision, Faith, and Leadership for Startup CEOs | AJ Brau, CEO of Wander | #003

Welcome to the first coaching podcast for CEOs. 6In this episode, I coach AJ Brau, the CEO of Wander.

—

AJ is passionate about her job and the rapid success of her startup. She can talk about it nonstop for hours.

She also has a very bright, fast, and intellectual mind. But the downside of these gifts spills over into her leadership. It can be hard for people to keep up with her, and it can be hard for her to lead her team efficiently.

My responsibility was to challenge her by slowing her down and taking a few steps back.

We began to work out what she needs to work on the most: defining her clear vision as a foundation for improving her leadership style and using her faith in God's power to continue her exponential growth effortlessly.

—

To better understand the coaching session, I advise you to watch the entire episode.

Here is an overview:

#002 | The Challenge of Leading a Team of 100 Volunteers | Tarek KHOLOUSSY, CEO of Nomads Skillshare

Welcome to the first coaching podcast for CEOs. In this episode, I coach Tarek KHOLOUSSY, CEO of Nomads Giving Back & Nomads Skillshare.

—

As the CEO of Nomads Giving Back (and its new little sister, Nomads Skillshare), Tarek has the opportunity to lead a team of 100+ volunteering digital nomads around the world.

Tarek comes with two main challenges. The first on leadership. The second is on creating a sustainable organization.

The second one is definitely rooted.

What I see is that Tarek doesn't love money unconditionally, even though he has been making progress in that direction for the past few years.

As he mentioned, he moved from keeping his eyes on the money every day at Godman Sachs to the other side of the spectrum today, which is to ''not care about money."

The way for him to make peace within, which will have an impact on his leadership, is to come back to balance (i.e., not being at one side or another of the spectrum) and loving money with all his heart, without attaching any notion of heaven or hell to it.

Also, a way for him to bring more freedom and satisfaction to his life is to come back to simplicity: doing more of what energizes him and erasing the rest.

—

Nomads Giving Back's mission is to create positive social change around the world through social impact-themed trips, culture & language exchanges, skill-sharing programs, advocacy events, meet-ups, impact workshops, volunteering access to organizations, and more.

It's a social enterprise with the vision to inspire nomads, expats, and travelers to make it easier to give back to the communities they call ''home away from home.''

—

To better understand the coaching session, I advise you to watch the entire episode.

Here is an overview:

🔹00:00 Introduction

🔹03:45 Tarek's introduction and current challenges as CEO

🔹08:45 Coaching Tarek on leadership

🔹29:25 Coaching Tarek on money

🔹44:08 A simple exercise for a happier life

#001 | Do Things That You Think You Shouldn't | Guillaume MOUBECHE, CEO of Lempire

Welcome to the first coaching podcast for CEOs. In this episode, I coach Guillaume MOUBECHE, the CEO of Lempire/Lemlist.

—

Guillaume's current challenge to scale his company (from $10,000,000 to $100,000,000 in ARR) is hiring high-standard people.

As a coach, my mission is to focus on him (not his challenge) and make him realize that his real challenge is in his thinking, not anywhere else.

One of his business mantras is to ''Do Things That You Shouldn't.''

With his permission, I coach him to make him become aware that the key to overcoming his challenge is in thinking. In other words, he should do the things that he thinks he shouldn't.

To better understand the coaching session, I advise you to listen to the entire episode.

Here is an overview:

🔹00:00 Introduction

🔹04:04 Guillaume's hiring challenge

🔹14:32 Challenging Guillaume on his vision

🔹20:07 Values as a way to overcome Guillaume's hiring challenge

🔹25:30 Working with Guillaume on improving his hiring process

🔹43:18 Guillaume's insights

—

In 3.5 years, Lempire/Lemlist went from $0 to $10 million in ARR, 20k+ customers worldwide, without any funding.

The company's mission is to help 1,000,000 entrepreneurs to build profitable businesses by 2025.
