Leipzig HIT FCA for SIX as Wagner in HOT water! MW 8 REVIEW

Welcome back to The Bundesliga Show! In this episode, the lads take you through the major talking points from Matchday 8 in the Bundesliga 2025/26! On Friday night, SV Werder Bremen edged past Union Berlin in a tight 1-0 win thanks to a late strike by Marco Grull. On Saturday, most of the favourites won with the exception of HSV, as they were defeated 1-0 at home courtesy of an Adam Daghim strike in a smash-and-grab away win. Frankfurt returned to winning ways as a Jonny Burkardt brace was enough to see off St. Pauli. The result of the day belonged to RB Leipzig, as they thrashed a dire Augsburg side 6-0 at the WWK Arena. Pressure is mounting on Sandro Wagner as his underperforming side continue their poor season. On Sunday, VfB Stuttgart made it five straight wins as they edged out Mainz. Trailing 1-0, Chris Fuhrich scored a stunning leveller, which inspired a Deniz Undav winner in the second half, who struck late with a cultured finish. Bayern CRUISE to win over BVB as TITLE race looks OVER! MW7 REVIEW

Welcome back to The Bundesliga Show! In this episode, the lads take you through the major talking points from Matchday 7 in the Bundesliga 2025/26! On Friday night,1. FC Union Berlin cruised to a 3-1 home win over winless Gladbach. Doekhi grabbed an early double to set the home side on their way to a deserved victory. On Saturday, the TopSpiel between Bayern Munich and BVB finished as a 2-1 win to the Spitzenreiter hosts. Harry Kane notched his 19th goal in 11 appearaces this season with an early header. Leverkusen won the game of the day with a 4-3 thriller in Mainz. Grimaldo bagged a double to continue his world-class start to the season. Stuttgart built on their strong league form with an easy 3-0 in the Autostadt, battering Wolfsburg courtesy of goals from the likes of Angelo Stiller and Tiago Tomas. On Sunday, the highly anticipated clash between Freiburg and Frankfurt finished level, with Vincenzo Grifo scoring a cheeky free-kick late on to equalise, after Jonny Burkardt's double had looked to have given 'Die Adler' all three points. On Saturday, the Topspiel proved to be the best in recent memory, as Frankfurt won 6-4 in a 10-goal epic against Gladbach. Can Uzun made it 5 goals in 5 games as his early season form continues. BVB and Leipzig continue their upturn in form as they both made it 4 straight league wins, defeating Mainz and Wolfsburg respectively, also keeping clean sheets. Heidenheim won their first game of the season as they defeated struggling Augsburg 2-1.On Sunday, VfB Stuttgart earned their first away win of the season as they defeated 1. FC Koeln 2-1. Both sides had bags of chances but Josha Vagnoman had the final say with a late winner in an entertaining match. There were also draws in Freiburg and Berlin, as the hosts couldn't find a way past Hoffenheim or HSV in their respective home games. On Friday night, Stuttgart earned a second victory of the season as they ended St. Pauli's 3-match unbeaten start. On Saturday, Harry Kane notched a hattrick as an unfortunate TSG Hoffenheim were beaten 4-1 in a scoreline that flattered the visitors. Mainz also recorded a 4-1 win on the road as they battered FC Augsburg despite going down to 10 men. Freiburg completed a good day for visiting teams as they thrashed Werder Bremen 3-0 at the Weserstadion. SC Freiburg have now won back-to-back games for the first time this campaign. On Sunday, 1. FC Union Berlin stole the show with a highly impressive 4-3 victory at Frankfurt. Oliver Burke became the first Scottish player to score a hattrick in the Bundesliga as Union won away from home for the first time this season. Leverkusen dropped points than to a last-gasp Gladbach leveller at the BayArena, and BVB finished the weekeend with a hard-fought 1-0 win over previously unbeaten VfL Wolfsburg. On Friday night, Leverkusen produced a much-improved display under new head coach Kaspar Hjulmand as they defeated Frankfurt 3-1 thanks to a double from Grimaldo. Despite finishing with 9- men, the hosts were able to hold on quite comfortably against the off-colour visitors. On Saturday, FC Koeln scored a 104th-minute leveller at Wolfsburg in a 3-3 draw. Kaminski's strike was the third goal scored after the 90-minute mark. SC Freiburg provided their home fans with a turnaround 3-1 win against VfB Stuttgart. Trailing 1-0 going into the last 10 minutes, the hosts struck through new signings Matanovic and Scherhant to send their fans home happy. There were also wins for Bayern Munich, TSG Hoffenheim, Borussia Dortmund and RB Leipzig. On Sunday, FC St. Pauli continued their highly impressive start to the season with a second win in a row.
