We’re down to the wire folks this episode wraps up making a ceramic jack-o’-lantern. In this episode we will either be painting or glazing our ceramic jack-o’-lanterns. We’re almost done so come on and join us.

This is a brief announcement regarding the planned episode for today at 5 PM. Unfortunately due to complications outside of the podcast we are unable to air today’s planned episode at 5 PM. Due to weather issues we’ve had to switch things up. This week will be part one of the ceramic jack-o’-lantern. Next week will be doing part one of building a doghouse.

We had a few technical difficulties that we didn’t realize until today. We apologize for the episode not being out on this originally scheduled time and day. But here it is now. We hope everyone had an excellent summer. We’re back and we’re ready for season two we hope you are as well. In this episode we will be addressing some listener questions we received over the break. We will be covering some changes that we’ve decided to make that will hopefully make this podcast better for you the listener. We’re also going to tell you what you can expect for the first project of season two. All that packed in with a few laughs that everybody can enjoy. We’re definitely glad to be back and we’re definitely glad to have you the listeners along for the ride.

Now that season one has finished it is time for the post season discussion. We will be going over the following information. Questions and or comments from you the listeners. Projects that you could see in season two. When to expect the first episode of season two. We hope you will join us and thank you all of you for helping us make season one a fabulous opening season.

Today is the day when we glaze our ceramic projects it’s really easy just like painting.

And this episode will be showing you how to clean your ceramic projects. It’s kind of like washing dishes LOL.

And now for the second half where we will finish firing our projects and then cooling them.

The moment of truth is here. In this episode we begin the process of firing our ceramic projects. This will be a back to back 2 day project so I hope you’re ready. You’re going to be spending a lot of time with this one.

And this blind crafters mini project we will be showing you how to dig a fire pit so that you will be able to fire your ceramic projects. By the way, we were able to publish the episode rather sooner than expected.

Due to the weather we have had a bit of an interruption in recording today’s blind crafters mini project. Do not worry we will still be posting it today we have just had to change the posting time. In this episode we will be checking and preparing our ceramic projects for firing. We’re only checking and prepping not firing that will be for next week.

This is what happens when I allow my brain to run amok in the middle of the night. Things like this come out. Join us as we put together one of my late night brainstorms. It’s easy cheap to make and the best part is it works. (Please note, this is not a live trap. It will kill the mice it catches. I will endeavor to make a live trap version of this for those who want to know how to make one.)

Here’s a fun and easy to do mini project making an incense burner.

We will be checking the progress of our bowls to see how well they have dried since last week. We’re going to see if there are any problems that have occurred if there are any will address them. After that we will do some smoothing and polishing.

In this episode will be taking on a project that was suggested to us by one of our listeners, Stephanie B. We will be making a soapdish from ceramic clay. Join us it’ll be a lot of fun and, you’ll learn to make something that is highly useful.

This episode starts a project that Tabby has been looking forward to for a while. Join us as we begin work on making a food and water bowl set for a dog or cat.
