Think of it like invisible energy flowing through wires, kind of like water flows through a hose.” “Here’s an easy experiment you can try at home with a grown-up,” Drexel added. “You’ll need a D battery, a light bulb, and two wires. Connect one end of each wire to the battery, then connect the other ends to the bottom and side of the light bulb. If the bulb lights up, you’ve made a closed circuit!
