Part 2 of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's Netflix docuseries has dropped and we got thoughts! It looks like the former Royals have spilled the tea and dived into some of the internal drama leading up to their decision to leave the institution. That + the fallout between Harry and his brother William has our tongues wagging this week! Did the last three episodes do its job in helping repair their image and tell their side of the story or was it yet another PR ploy wrapped up in poor execution?
Join us this week as we debate (or rather argue about) the details and try to make it to the other side with our friendship in tact!

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are at it again with the new release of their Netflix docuseries! The first three episodes walks us through how Harry and Meghan met, how they kept their relationship under the radar, Harry’s experience growing up, Meghan’s experience growing up, the official launch of their relationship, and what happened with the British media + the initial story on Meghan’s family drama. Though some called it boring and others (mainly Royal family lovers) ripped Harry and Meghan to shreds, Netflix has said it's been their best performing documentary launch within the first week of its launch. Did the first three episodes do its job in helping repair their image and tell their side of the story or was it a PR stunt wrapped up in poor execution?

Variety magazine has announced the lineup for their “directors on directors” special for 2022 - which, for those of you who aren’t familiar with this segment, it’s when 12 directors are paired up and get to interview each other about their careers - and Taylor Swift has been nominated as a “director” for her “all is well” music video. For those who are like, “so, who cares?” let’s be clear: she will be in the company of James Cameron and Robert Rodriguez, and Sarah Polley and Francis Ford Coppola.
Earlier this week, after much speculation that something serious is going on with Britney, her IG was mysteriously deactivated, which then sent her fans into a spiral. Her husband responded in a series of posts on IG and Tiktok stating “I would never control someone that’s been controlled for 13+ years.” and Britney is taking a “break” from social media after finding it “traumatizing.” and accused her fans of making things more stressful on her by being “over protective”. He also said Britney chooses not to attend red carpet events due to wanting privacy as she hasn't had privacy since she’s a child.
Kanye West Shares First Song Since Antisemitic Interviews & Social Posts
We all know Kanye has been in the news for all the wrong reasons lately. His antisemetic comments have even caused Elon Musk (who we all know is pro free speech etc etc) to block his twitter. We won’t rehash all the crazy shit he’s said and done over the last 3 months or so (listen to our BBQs for that!), but he’s just released a new song called “Someday we’ll all be free” and addresses his strained relationship with Kim, the tweet that got him canceled, etc… a line from the song: “Tweeted deathcon, now we past three,
A BSB fan (Shannon Ruth) has filed a complaint against nick carter, stating that he forced her to give him a blowie and have sex with him on the tour bus after a concert 21 years ago. She’s also stated that he gave her HPV and is seeking punitive and compensatory damages. This isn’t the first time Nick’s been accused of sexual assault, for the record. He was accused back in 2017 by one of the singers from the girl group dream - but he maintains that the relationship was consensual.
Kathy Hilton Apologizes to Mariska Hargitay For Applying Lip Gloss During Her PCAs Speech
During the people’s choice awards last week, Mariska Hargitay received the best tv drama star award and while she was giving her thank you speech, Kathy Hilton (who presented the award) casually applied lip gloss, totally overshadowing Mariska’s moment.

For the last few weeks there have been rumors swirling about Britney spears. There’s been speculation for a while now that her IG is actually controlled by Sam and Jamie’s team - between the erratic pictures, captions, etc and it's led to a plethora of new conspiracy theories to develop. She's been posting photos of her in her old house - which she sold in June after her wedding to Sam. Then there was a weird bathtub post talking about how she loves to suck. Then there were the posts and videos of her in her grandma’s wedding veil and a nightgown. Then, on her birthday, she posted a tribute to Jamie-Lynn, who she openly has had a conflictual relationship with. Do we think it's Britney? Her team? Sam? Or is something else going on behind scenes?
Netflix Releases First Trailer for Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's New Docuseries
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry signed a multi-year multi-million dollar deal with Netflix back in 2020 - and this week we finally got a glimpse into their first project they are delivering on… ironically, the same week both Prince William and Kate are in Boston for a visit!
Kim Kardashian and Kanye West reach divorce settlement
Kim Kardashian and Kanye West married in 2014. After 7 years of marriage and 4 children, Kim filed for divorce in Feb 2021, citing irreconcilable differences. After almost 2 years of divorce proceedings - even though they had a prenup and kept most of their property separate (still dont get how Gisele and Tom did this shit in 4 weeks!), they are officially divorced and avoiding a trial which was set for Dec 14. While they will share custody of the kids, Kanye has been ordered to pay Kim $200,000 per month in child support, split the cost of security and school for the kids through college and are now free to go on their merry way.
KANYE WEST MENTAL BREAKDOWN ON AIR ... Praises Hitler & Nazis
We deep dive into Kayne's interview with Alex Jones on InfoWars, what he said (spoiler: it's LOTS of awful things) how he acted alongside Nick Fuentes and question whether or not it was really Kayne behind the mask.

After Queen Elizabeth passed a couple of months ago (RIP!), Prince Charles automatically ascended the throne - but typically, the new monarch’s coronation doesn’t happen for around a year, out of respect for the former monarch. The shocking thing is King Charles’ coronation has been announced - and the date will be May 6, 2023. The reason this is full of drama is because this also happens to be Archie’s (his grandson) birthday and people are speculating that it’s a dig at Harry and Meghan, who haven’t exactly been model royals. This week we deep dive into the details and fight tooth and nail on who the asshole here is: is it Meghan for having dug a hole with the royal family leading them to disregard the birthday of the king's grandson or is it King Charles for choosing royal pettiness and intentionally picking his coronation to overshadow his grandson?

As everyone knows, Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen have finalized their divorce, supposedly amicably. Speculation is that Gisele was done when Tom un-retired at the beginning of this football season and they quietly filed for divorce, which was finalized before the start of week 8 in football.
Who’s the asshole for wanting the divorce? Gisele, who gave up her life and career for his or Tom for not keeping his promise to retire and spending time with his family?

Our girl Rihanna has returned! Not only has she made a comeback with her new single for the Wakanda Forever soundtrack, but she's also been working hard on her Savage X Fenty brand. Per usual, RiRi did not disappoint, but what was a surprise to many was her casting Johnny Depp in Volume 4 of the shows campaign.
As a result of this news, some on social media dragged Rihanna for featuring Depp in the show...which begs the question: was RiRi in the wrong or is society just overreacting?

The Basic and The Brain are back with they're regularly scheduled programming! This week we're discussing the Kardashians - not just the family, but the second season of their Hulu show and the backlash they're facing from avid viewers. It seems as if their ability to create explosive reality TV drama is fizzling out and instead of salacious moments that we all expect from the Kardashian clan, we're faced with product placements across the families MANY brands. From Kendall Jenner and 818 tequila to Skims and Kim Kardashian. Which brings us to our core question: Do the Kardashians need to keep up with their fans on their reality TV show or should they just call it quits? Do they need the show as part of their business model or are they already at the pinnacle of their fame and audience level?
Join us this week as we pick apart this season and its lack of drama all while trying to answer the question: does the show makes sense or is it just a rather large advertising forum for their families multitude of brands?

With Aleena's vanity falling off the wall and her attitude coming in full force today, we provide our thoughts on this new season of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, from our honest overview of Erika Jayne's recent problematic behaviour (hitting on Garcelle's eldest son to making inappropriate comments to someone with an eating disorder), Sutton Stracke's lack of emotional intelligence, Garcelle Beauvais' pot stirring and Diana Jenkin's nouveau riche tackiness.
Not only are we getting spicy with this week's commentary, we talk about how some of these women are cougars and go deep into the societal concept of the cougar (which many of our housewives have been seen as), including the definition, what the data tells us, and the potential sociological and biological reasons for the "phenomenon". In summary, can't a girl just get some good d**k and call it a day?
Join us this week as we blow your minds around the reality of "cougars" and come to the realization that we're nearing cougar age ourselves. Watch out boys...we're coming!
