"Quietly Quitting" The newest term hitting America, A reddit story

The newest term to hit America due to a tiktok trend in july of 2022, "Quiet Quitting"  If you don't go above and beyond at your job, then you're a "Quiet Quitter".  if you do what is required at your job, you might be a "Quiet Quitter".  If you perform just enough not to be fired, you might be a "Quiet Quitter".

Is it wrong not to go above and beyond at work?

Just doing the job requirements and only working hours in trade of money?

Should you be shamed for working 9-5 monday through Friday.

If you don't answer that email on your vacation or take that call after hours, you might be a "Quiet Quitter".

Why is this bad, after all you are not being paid for the extra effort and there's no promotion waiting at the end of the month. The definition for a "Quiet Quitter" is someone who does not endure the hustle culture and go above and beyond in the workplace (summed up).  It is a loose definition, meaning lots of loose interpretations, meaning more possibilities for a toxic workplace.  No one wants that.

In the day and age of Pandemics and culture changes, we need to learn and discuss together how to combat more Negative Changes to ourselves and those around us. Some are easily confused, but that doesn't have to be you.

Send in your stories if you know someone who is a "Quiet Quitter" or if you think you yourself is a "Quiet Quitter"  I guarantee you, it's most likely NOT your FAULT.  It's not a new concept, workplace toxicity has been known FOREVER!

Why I Left My Job in 2022

Work is great. No really it is.  I am grateful for the experiences and relationships I have made through my previous job.  Most employment, especially in a social related field can be very exhausting. Burnout happens very quickly and if you don't have supportive management, it's even worse.  In this episode I discuss why I left my previous employment and discuss some of the details which is personal to me. Sorry this is probably more of a downer episode.  I discuss more of my depression, bits of my thought process and what led me to decide to leave.  Here is a short spoiler, it took 3 months for me to finally decide to submit my resignation.

My hope for this episode, although basically me ranting, is to provide some insight and confidence that it is ok to quit and move on. There is never a good time and when it's a toxic environment we only get to control when we hand in our resignation. What helped me get through this before, was learning that others had experienced a toxic workplace also.  There are books and resources available and have many testimonials. It helps build the feeling that you're not crazy.  Good toxic leadership are masters of "push and pull" or "gaslighting" tactics.  And they appear like kind people, probably too kind.

I have started to paint again (cliche i know) and that for me is exciting as well as doing projects I enjoy. I have embraced a freelancer lifestyle at the moment. If you would like to have a logo or other design work made, please find me on fiverr or message me for details.

Kids_Covid_Mental Health
Kids are the future. Covid is destroying our mental health. Politics, lately, can cause a lot of anxiety. The multi variable issue in our world today is causing a backlash of issues on our mental health and daily routine. It’s vital we get back to a point of normalcy. Suicide is up and mental health down. We don’t have to stay this way. Find a hobby an interest, start a book club. Things that may help engage with others. We’re all in this together, not the only one dealing with it.

Thanksgiving 1984 or 1948 Depending on how you look at it.

Thanksgiving is coming, but what's happening in the world???

Stupid Restrictions. Gov Newsom, Gov Kelly, Lightfoot, all are going fricking insane over gathering restrictions. 6 in 1 on home.  Well those of you with larger families gotta boot out your least favorite.  This is out of hand.  How do we get through this, stand up for what we believe in and what is truth, justice and the American Way.

This podcast use to be about God and becoming atheist, with some minor politics. I hope to merge multiple elements with psychology and mental health. I believe that the truth is healing even if it sucks. Understanding why something is happening vs the feeling, "it just doesn't make sense".

Support my channel by following and subscribing or by sending a donation.  I haven't worked out goodies yet to send to contributors but if I do it may be in the form of personally signed art that I create or graphic tees. your thoughts would be appreciated in helping decided such a conundrum.

In this podcast I mention current politics. Shady business going on with the Biden's and whether Trump is a good candidate for another 4 years, But something is definitely not right about this year.  Covid is on the rise again, as so the media says, but there hasn't been mention of it since the election news.

A look into Sy Garte
Sy Garte is biochemist and published more than 200 scientific publications in genetics, epidemiology, the environment and other areas. He has been a Professor of Public Health and Environmental Health Sciences at New York University, UMDNJ, and the University of Pittsburgh. “Part of my own faith is the belief that God’s truth is the only truth, and that we can grow in our understanding of that truth through scientific and theological work.” Science and God shouldn’t be treated as enemies. Instead, we should see the beauty of the marriage of science and faith. “Scripture can appear to be self-contradicting, as can science—let alone the two with each other. All this means is that we haven’t gotten all of it right yet.” There is clearly a sense of purpose in the way living creatures behave, and we now can see some reflection of this sense in some of the new mechanisms of bio- logical variation. Purpose is still purpose, whether it springs from the genome of E. coli, the chromosomes of a chordate, the mind of humans, or the hand of God. The new EES alternatives to neo-Darwinism are not theistic, but the opening up of evolutionary theory to embrace the fundamental complexity of biological systems may very likely contain pointers to the majesty of God’s creation, including the diver- sity of life on Earth.5

Gavin Hurlimann: Cool interview. Very respectful & charitable work from both parties. Atheists take note.

Daulton Horton: I'm not trying to call this guy a liar, i think he's telling the truth, that HE thinks he was a Christian, but I'm not buying it, he was a cultural Christian with a nice personality, so was my dad until he was 60 years old before he was really born again, and he was also raised in the church, I don't believe this man was ever born again, I know he wasn't!

Brian Stevens: If he says he was a Christian, he was a Christian.  End of story.

8 Questions Atheists Can't Plausibly Answer, SJ Thomason

Is SJ Thomason Business MGT Ph.D., Right?

8 Questions Atheists Cannot Plausibly Answer christian-apologist.com/2019/10/12/8-questions-atheists-cannot-plausibly-answer… I have YET to see a better explanation for the minimal facts surrounding Jesus' resurrection than #JESUS RESURRECTED.  #Christianity #TruthReigns

https://christian-apologist.com/2019/10/12/8-questions-atheists-cannot-plausibly-answer/

https://christian-apologist.com/

1. What explains our objective morality?

2. If an atheist’s position is that the universe is the product of chance and necessity (instead of the product of intelligence), how can he or she explain the fact that the universe is structured rationally, logically and with mathematical precision and predictability?

3. If atheists adhere to the belief that the purpose of human life is merely to procreate and survive, is it possible to determine that human life has any more value than animal life – since animals share the same basic purpose?

4. Why have so many atheists determined that the life of a fetus in a mother’s womb is less valuable than the life of his or her mother? Age discrimination? When is a human considered a human to them?

5. How can atheists explain the ordering of our DNA?

6. How can atheists explain the force that powered the Big Bang of the universe?

7. How can atheists explain our desire for heavenly joy?

8. What is the best explanation for the minimal facts surrounding Jesus’ resurrection?

Hobby Lobby was found to have used couriers that had willfully used methods to conceal the provenance of the allegedly stolen items. The museum released a statement that these artifacts were never owned by the Museum of the Bible and were never intended to be part of their collection. In 2018, the items were returned to Iraq, and the company paid a $3 million fine.[48] Scott Thumma, a dean and professor of sociology of religion at Hartford Seminary, defended Hobby Lobby during the smuggling controversy. What an Ex-Penacostal says about their Religion/ The Area-51 Raid

“I sparked a movement while I was bored at 2 a.m,” Roberts told the L.A. Times. https://www.nj.com/entertainment/2019/09/yes-people-actually-showed-up-to-storm-area-51.html

In July 1947 a rancher by the name of Mac Brazel found strange metal strewn over his land in New Mexico. Brazel took this debris to the authorities in Roswell. The commanding officer at the time Colonel Blanchard was also intrigued and he ordered an investigation. After collecting the shrapnel and other evidence off of Brazel’s property, the first Army command at Roswell issued a press release stating that they had recovered some type of “flying disk”

Conclusion

Area 51 is one of the most widely recognized secrets in the United States. While only a select few know for sure what happens in this facility, many believe that there are supernatural events and government tests that would change the way we feel about the universe. Will Area 51 conspiracy theories last forever or will the United States government eventually come clean about everything that happens behind the barbed wired fences?

https://www.conspiracies.net/area-51-conspiracy-theories

The universe cannot be younger than the objects contained inside of it. By determining the ages of the oldest stars, scientists are able to put a limit on the age.

The life cycle of a star is based on its mass. More massive stars burn faster than their lower-mass siblings. A star 10 times as massive as the sun will burn through its fuel supply in 20 million years, while a star with half the sun's mass will last more than 20 billion years. The mass also affects the brightness, or luminosity, of a star; more massive stars are brighter. [Related: The Brightest Stars: Luminosity & Magnitude] Known as Population III stars, the first stars were massive and short-lived. They contained only hydrogen and helium, but through fusion began to create the elements that would help to build the next generation of stars. Scientists have been hunting for traces of the first stars for decades.

"Those stars were the ones that formed the first heavy atoms that ultimately allowed us to be here," David Sobral, an astronomer from the University of Lisbon in Portugal, said in a statement. Sobral was part of a team that identified a bright galaxy with evidence of Population III stars.

"The detection of dust in the early universe provides new information on when the first supernovae exploded and hence the time when the first hot stars bathed the universe in light," ESO officials said in a statement. "Determining the timing of this 'cosmic dawn' is one of the holy grails of modern astronomy, and it can be indirectly probed through the study of early interstellar dust."

Early stars aren't the only way to place limits on the age of the universe. Dense collections of stars known as globular clusters have similar characteristics. The oldest known globular clusters have stars with ages that appear to be between 11 and 14 billion years old. The wide range comes from problems in pinpointing the distances to the clusters, which affects estimates of brightness and thus mass. If the cluster is farther away than scientists have measured, the stars would be brighter, thus more massive, thus younger than calculated.

Benny Hinn Confesses! Or was it for more Seeds? Pastors Misleading the Masses
(CNSNews.com) – A new analysis from Georgetown University that attempts to document the economic value of religion in U.S. society found that the faith sector is worth $1.2 trillion, more than the combined revenue of the top 10 technology companies in the country, including Apple, Amazon, and Google. The study, The Socioeconomic Contributions of Religion to American Society: An Empirical Analysis, makes three estimates of the quantitative economic value of faith to American society. The first estimate took into account only the revenues of faith-based organizations, which came to $378 billion annually. The second estimate, $1.2 trillion, included the fair market value of goods and services provided by religious organizations and included contributions of businesses with religious roots. The third, higher-end, estimate of $4.8 trillion takes into account the household incomes of religiously affiliated Americans, assuming that they conduct their affairs according to their religious beliefs. https://www.cnsnews.com/news/article/lauretta-brown/georgetown-study-religion-worth-12-trillion-us-economy-more-google-and https://www.celebritynetworth.com/richest-celebrities/benny-hinn-net-worth/ https://www.bennyhinn.org/about/ https://youtu.be/9LtF34MrsfI https://youtu.be/8qUQwmwC7Oc People around the globe know Pastor Benny Hinn as a noted evangelist, teacher, and the author of best-selling books including Good Morning, Holy Spirit, Prayer That Gets Results, Blood in the Sand, and Lamb of God. His TV program, This Is Your Day, is among the world’s most-watched Christian programs, seen daily in 200 countries. His popular website and ministry app reach millions of people every single day in areas of the world that may not otherwise hear about the Gospel. Yet there is much more to the story of the man, and his ministry, who has impacted the world for more than four decades with the life-saving and miracle-working message of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Beginnings Benny Hinn was born on December 3, 1952, in the port city of Jaffa (part of modern Tel Aviv), Israel, where his family had set up residence as immigrants to Palestine from Greece. In 1968, not long after the Six-Day War, he moved with his family to Canada. In February 1972, Benny Hinn’s life took on an entirely new meaning when he surrendered his heart and life to Jesus Christ as high school friends prayed with him. Soon afterward, he was called to minister the Gospel. In April 1974, young Benny received a vision of people falling into a roaring inferno and heard the words: if you do not preach, every soul that falls will be your responsibility! On December 7, 1974, four days after his 22nd birthday, Benny Hinn first stood behind a pulpit to preach the Gospel—his life-long stuttering problem suddenly healed! From that moment, he would fearlessly seek to fulfill our Lord’s Great Commission. Pastor Benny Hinn has preached the Gospel face to face and through television to more than a billion people. Through Miracle Healing Services, conferences, TV broadcasts, the Internet, printed page, and audio-video recordings, this evangelist’s straightforward, uncompromising message of God’s love has inspired hundreds of millions to a personal relationship and deeper walk with the Lord Jesus Christ. Pastor Benny’s ministry is also engaged in work with My Father’s House children’s homes in Mexico and Asia, as well as with feeding programs, crisis relief, and hospital care. For years, his ministry has provided food, clothing, shelter, education, and religious training for thousands around the globe (including partnerships with numerous missionary and relief agencies).
