Hurricane Milton has been downgraded to a Category 3 storm as it continues to inch closer to landfall on Florida's west coast. Milton is likely to be right near the threshold of a major hurricane when it reaches the west-central coast of Florida on Wednesday evening. As of 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Hurricane Milton was located at 27.2N and 82.8W, which is 20 miles west-southwest of Sarasota. It had maximum sustained winds of 120 miles per hour and was moving east-northeast at 15 miles per hour.

Ice Spice and Cleotrapa have been engaging in a back-and-forth about the latter’s alleged mistreatment on the former’s Y2K Tour. The Bronx rapper’s manager, James Rosemond Jr., has entered the conversation in an attempt to clarify the claims that are being made.
Cleotrapa called Ice “calculated” and said she was only invited on tour to clean up Ice Spice’s image after her text messages disparaging Nicki Minaj were leaked. She then claimed the “In Ha Mood” rapper gave her only a one-day notice prior to agreeing to the trek, and said Cleo would be “taken care of” during tour. However, Cleotrapa allegedly wound up having to come out of pocket for nearly all of her expenses, was mistreated, and more.
Rosemond stepped in to say he and his team gave Cleotrapa “an opportunity” and the onus is on her management team to decide if agreeing the tour would be a rational decision. “You have to invest in yourself, aka pay expenses if need be for the opportunity. It’s corny. Someone gives you an opportunity and this is the thanks the person gets. Openers dont have same things headliners has,” wrote on X.

Mark Zuckerberg has accused United States President Joe Biden’s administration of pressuring his team to censor content on the COVID-19 pandemic in a letter that Republicans have latched on to as alleged evidence of the administration cracking down on free speech. Zuckerberg said it was “wrong” of the government to pressure social media platforms. He said he regretted buckling to the pressure. The testimony from one of the world’s most influential tech titans comes amid a heated presidential election campaign. Republicans, led by former President Donald Trump, have long accused social media platforms of censoring them, and Zuckerberg’s comments are likely to fuel their assertions.
Planned Parenthood offered some of its services for free on Monday and Tuesday in a mobile clinic near the United Center during the Democratic National Convention. The group provided free vasectomies, medication abortions, and emergency contraception by appointment at the mobile clinic parked just blocks from the DNC. A spokesperson said one goal is to help people who travel to Illinois from states where access to those services has been limited since the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade and other states began severe restrictions or outright bans on abortion and other reproductive care. "We're just really excited to provide the opportunity for the thousands of folks who are coming to Illinois to demonstrate for them that it is possible to start closing some healthcare gaps for folks," said Dr. Colleen McNicholas, chief medical officer at Planned Parenthood Great Rivers. Planned Parenthood said it served between 20 and 30 patients over the two days the mobile clinic was near the DNC.
