Hi everyone, it’s Kazia. This will be my last episode on That Smutty Book Club. I’ve had such a great time doing this with Hope, but unfortunately I no longer have the time to continue. Thank you all so much for being here, Hope is going to continue on the podcast without me.

Surprise Surprise, Kazia is covering her fav authors L.A Shaw’s newest release, Reckless Encounters which is book 3 in the Reckless Hearts series. Hope is covering Erin Fitzgerald’s newest release, Something Sacrificed. Both L.A. Shaw and Erin have been on the podcast before!

Kazia covers one of her all time favorite series the Lakes Hockey series by Sloane St. James. Sloane has been in the podcast before and we had such a great time with her. With the Lakes Hockey series coming to an end, Kazia wanted to cover the series as a whole. Hope goes back to her fantasy roots this week and she covers A Fate Inked in Blood by Danielle L. Jensen.

Hope covers Erin Fitzgerald’s latest release, Something Gained. We had Erin on the podcast earlier this year and she is just such a lovely human. Kazia talks about What It Was Grayce Rian’s debut novel. Grayce did such a fantastic job on her debut. 5/5 stars literally phantastic!

Kazia covers the Fight For me Duet by L.A. Shaw. These are books 2 & 3 of the Make You series. L.A. Shaw is one of Kazia’s favorite authors. They are an author duo. Hope also decided to cover a book from her favorite author Sarah J. Maas, Throne of Glass which also happens to be Hopes favorite books ever! We both gave our books 5/5 stars. Kazia’s book(s) gets 3.5/5 spice and Hopes is a YA so 0/5 spice. As always Stay Smutty friends!!!!!

Hope and I thought it would be fun to ask each other some random questions, and hopefully let you guys get to know us more. We get way off track like always but we definitely let you know some new things. Buckle up, this one is a wild ride.

Pru Schuyler joined us on the podcast this week! We absolutely loved having her on and she gave us some teasers for her new upcoming releases. Maas do I even need to tell you guys about this book, you already know, it’s one of the most talked about series! Kazia talks about Rival Hearts by Maggie Rawdon, it’s a football,second chance romance that is super spicy!

C.H. Maddington released her debut novel in Oct 2023 called Breaking Ryan Baylor. Breaking Ryan Baylor is a not so typical hockey romance but of course you get your happy ending! Her second book Taming Tyler Hayes will be releasing this year(2024) Thank you C.H. Maddington for joining us, it was such a pleasure getting to meet you!

This week I (Kazia) talk about Sloane St. James new release Stand and Defend. If you take one recommendation from me let it be this one. Hot damn this book is spicy! Hope covers the book One Dark Window by: Rachel Gillig. We share some laughs and I question Hope about things in her books which of course ends up with us laughing harder.
