Luz de Amor continues her story throughout her teenage years into young adulthood. She talks about the sexual abuse of the younger teens and the changes that started to take place during this period. Lou also explains her experience getting in trouble with one of the “uncles” for minor child indiscretions. She tells memories of her childhood that she looks back on fondly and then others that are difficult to even talk about. One aspect of her childhood that she still smiles about today, would be music involvement. Lou was fortunate enough to not only learn about music from trained adults but she also was able to perform in front of many people.
