In this special episode, the hosts become the guests. Harleigh Reid steps in to interview Jevanni Letford and Achasah Weinreb, the voices behind Steps I Took, giving listeners a chance to hear their personal journeys for the first time.

They talk about their childhoods, their experiences growing up Black in the UK, and the very different parenting styles that shaped who they are today. Jevanni reflects on a fairly typical upbringing before things took a turn at university, eventually leading to viral fame after an unexpected encounter with Prince Harry. Achasah opens up about moving schools often, her time in private education, and the varied career path that took her from governess to teacher to events planner.

They also share what inspired their move to Dubai, how their friendship evolved, and what led them to launch the podcast together.
