Frank Gehry has always been an outsider both personally and professionally. With the opportunity to build Disney Hall, though, it would seem that he would finally be welcomed into the mainstream. However, his final design for the project is seen as too radical and costly. He will have to fight for his design as the project trudges through bureaucracy of Los Angeles.
