1.Growth mindset = God’s setup for breakthrough
Dr. Dave breaks it down: if you’re not open to learning and growing, you’re basically blocking the upgrade God wants to give you. A growth mindset says, “There’s more!” A fixed mindset says, “I’ve arrived.” Spoiler alert: God loves working with people who still think there's more to discover.

2. Reset your people, reset your path
This one hits deep—if you don’t like where you’re headed, it might be time to check your circle. You're the average of your top three friends. Want to level up? Surround yourself with folks who are spiritually and financially rich, who think bigger and dream Kingdom-sized dreams.

3. R7 is the roadmap for real results
Dr. Dave’s “R7” framework isn’t just a snappy name—it’s a powerhouse process that includes steps like Reset, Destiny, Vision, Strategy, Brand, Communication, Prayer, and Action. It’s doing the work of digging that ends up with a rock-solid foundation for your life and business.

4. Biblical principles are baked into the blueprint
Proverbs 15:10, “In the multitude of counsel there is wisdom,” isn’t just good advice—it’s part of the strategy. Dr. Dave works with Christian leaders and makes sure God’s Word is woven into the work. Pride is out, humility and wise counsel are in.

5. Don’t Skip the Strategy—Creative Alone Won’t Cut It
Jumping straight into branding and creative assets without first locking in your vision and strategy is like lighting a match in a windstorm. It flares up fast... and burns out just as quick. Want long-term impact? Slow burn with a solid strategy.

6. Want to Cut Through the Noise? Use Hero vs. Villain
We’re swimming in 17,000+ impressions a day (yikes), and our attention span is toast. To break through, create a clear narrative. People connect emotionally when there’s a hero and a villain. Bonus tip: the hero doesn’t need to be perfect, but the villain better be memorable.

7. Your Brand Isn’t What You Say—It’s What They Feel
Your brand isn’t just your logo or color palette. It’s every touchpoint—email, website, tone of voice—all rolled into one emotional experience. People either feel a connection... or they don’t. The goal? Be intentional, or your brand will still say something, just maybe not what you want.

Dave grew up in Western Pennsylvania and spent most of his early childhood and adult life in and out of hockey rinks around the world; playing in cities such as Ottawa, Cleveland, Pittsburgh, Kalamazoo, and Grand Rapids. His love and skill for hockey lead into a professional career in Europe playing in many countries including Luxemburg, Russia, Slovakia, Switzerland and finally Germany.

For over 13 years, Dave has worked NHL, NFL, Track and Field, and CrossFit athletes with their mental preparation, and hundreds of organizational leaders and executives around the world. Dave’s personal vision is to unify excellence in the marketplace. He has founded 4 thriving companies in the Raleigh, North Carolina community. Dave Jones has B.S. in Management Studies from the University of Maryland, European Division.

He also earned his Doctorate in Sport Psychology in 2024 after a long pursuit and determination. 1. Slapshot to Salvation
   A literal slapshot to the face (yes, like broken-nose, nerve-damage kind of slapshot) became the divine wake-up call that pivoted Dave’s life. Sometimes it really does take a hockey puck to the face to hear God clearly.
   
   
2. Jesus Over Hangovers
   At 16, fresh off a state championship and a hangover, Dave had a holy interruption when his brother from Moody Bible Institute asked him if he wanted to keep living like that—or receive Jesus. Hungover or not, Dave said yes to Jesus.
   
   
3. Grace-Fueled Grit
   He barely passed high school, but chased knowledge like a beast and just finished his PhD (hello, Dr. Dave!)—proving that being “not academic” doesn’t disqualify you when God’s the one writing your story.
   
   
4. Marketing Ministry that Moves Mountains
   Dave has been running M is Good for 24 years, managing $1.6 million a month in ad spend for 38 Christian orgs globally. It’s not just marketing; it’s ministry with strategy and Holy Spirit-led messaging.
   
   
5. Turtle on a Fence Post Wisdom
   His favorite analogy: if you see a turtle on a fence post, you know it didn’t get there by itself. That’s how he sees his journey—with God as the one lifting him higher than he could ever climb on his own.
   
   
6. God doesn’t always pick the obvious candidates—so relax.
   Dr. Dave reminds us that God tends to use the least expected people to do powerful things. You don’t have to be a marketing guru to start a Christian marketing business (he sure wasn’t)—you just have to say yes and be willing to...

All truth is God’s truth! Even non-believers can use spiritual principles. We, as maturing Sons of God, need to be operating at a higher level of understanding, power, and authority to bring more heaven to earth!

HIGHLIGHTS:
1. Spiritual laws work—whether you know Jesus yet or not. 
Just because someone isn't in a church pew doesn't mean they’re not getting results. Why? Because they’re tapping into spiritual principles that God wired into the universe. All truth is God’s truth—even if people stumble into it without knowing the Source. It's not New Age magic; it's divine design. Now, if they are accessing this power outside of Christ, there will be a price to pay. Jesus already paid the price for us as believers to access this spiritual power.

2. The enemy doesn’t create—he imitates.
Satan has zero original ideas. He can only copy God's systems and twist them. That means when people use spiritual tools the wrong way, it's not because the tools are bad—it's because they’re being hijacked. The original blueprint? Still God's.

3. We’re wired to desire—but only God fulfills.
Desire isn’t sinful. It’s sacred. We were designed with desire on purpose—by God. The problem is when we try to satisfy that desire outside of Him. So what are addictions? Misguided attempts to fill a divine ache that only Jesus can satisfy.

4. You’re not just a spectator—you’re a co-creator.
We’re not meant to just pray “Your will be done” and sit around waiting. We were created to go into heaven, see what God wants, and bring it here. That’s not some woo-woo theology—it’s kingdom responsibility. You’ve got authority, and you’re built to orchestrate things from the spiritual realm.

5. Comfort is the enemy of calling.
When everything shakes (and it will), what’s really being tested is where your security lies. Are you clinging to the conveniences of the world, or are you anchored in the unshakeable kingdom? The illusion of safety keeps people stuck—but you? You were made for more than microwave faith and spiritual autopilot.

6. Don’t Be Impressed by the Supernatural if Your Life’s a Mess.
You can have visions, dreams, or talk about angels all day, but if your life looks like chaos, something's off. The fruit matters. Real encounters with God should produce real transformation. Don’t settle for hype—go after what actually works.

7. Truth Isn’t Just a Concept—It’s a Person.
Darby drops a truth bomb here: transformation happens in layers, but the ultimate goal isn't just knowledge—it’s relationship. Jesus is the capital T Truth, and the more you engage with Him, the freer and more aligned your life becomes.

8. Ask God for Real—He’ll Show Up.
Forget arguing theology. If someone’s skeptical, just dare them to ask God to reveal Himself. He’s not hiding. Darby even “double dog dares” people to pray a one-liner—and guess what? People encounter God. Because He’s real, and He loves the invitation.

9. We’ve Got Something Better Than New Age: A Personal God.
You can experiment with breathwork or study the laws of attraction, but the difference for believers is relationship. The Kingdom life isn’t just metaphysical principles—it’s grace, truth, and a God who walks with you. And that changes everything.

10. Mind Renewal Is About Releasing, Not Striving.
You're not trying to become something new—you’re uncovering who you already are in Christ. Religion piles stuff on. Kingdom peels it off so your true identity can shine. You’re not fighting for victory—you’re living from it.
