Morally Gray’s Anatomy Ep 8 discusses a topic that most seem to view as a new age concept. Really, it boils down to marketing age-old communicators for relating the reader to the story. Whether it’s the oldest surviving ancient poem, or the newest release of sentient fucking from Holly Wilde, everything can be boiled down to its tropes and marketed to its targeted reader audience. 

Morally Gray’s Anatomy tackles the question of what the fuck is romantasy and why does it look like the other labels? Kind of a loose interpretation of this episode if you will. All the same, we’re talking about fantasy as an overarching theme. Covering the genre in its best media forms we breakdown issues we see repeated and why our favorite fantasy works knock it out of the park.

Morally Gray’s Anatomy is ready to push back in Episode 6. If you’ve been around BookTok for the last month, let alone since its formation, you should be familiar with the attack on romance books/books with explicit romance from, no surprise here, people NOT in the community. KB here, honestly, that’s being generous and polite. Thankfully, I don’t have to be polite at work. Let’s be real, these cishet men haven’t so much as read a magazine since high school. We know the type, they hardly did the required reading then, you think they’re going to read romance to understand someone’s desires and needs leisurely? So, why then, would they involve themselves in someone else’s enjoyment? (Oh) Boy did MGA explore all the angles for that one. We like to leave BookTok to its own drama, but limited recording time really hinders this discussion. How can you possibly tackle religion, the patriarchy, and the general cishet male audacity in a short video with disappointments shouting in the comments as though their opinion matters?

Morally Gray’s Anatomy spins it back to the whacky and admittedly delicious for Episode 5 this week. If you’ve ever asked yourself, “What would it be like to get railed by blank?” well we can probably answer it with the help of Holly Wilde’s catalog! Wilde’s wide array of published sentient erotica novellas are not only impressive by means of creativity, but also in quality and style.

Morally Gray’s Anatomy shifts for Episode 4 this week. With no particular book for this discussion, Kenna and Ethan dive into all things taboo. Giving perspective from both professions, this episode offers insight into the banned, forbidden, and vulgar. These topics can be sensitive for certain listeners, so keep in mind that familial relations, blood and marriage, are discussed.
