Rory McIlroy Wins the Masters
Still can’t get over today’s Masters. Been a fan of Rory McIlroy since I first got into golf, and watching him finally win the green jacket was something else. After all these years, he’s now completed the career Grand Slam. What a ride. I was up since 2am, emotionally drained by the end—but so worth it. Congrats, Rory. You deserved this one.
New Shortcast episode is out. A little different, but from the heart.
Cheap and Easy Website Builder
I’ve tried GitHub. I’ve tried Adobe Portfolio. Both had their pros, but either too complicated or too pricey for a solo creator like me. Then I discovered Carrd.co—a super simple, super affordable website builder that just works.
No coding. Pre-built templates. Custom domains. Email forms. And the best part? Only around ₱80/month or $1.40 USD. You can even build up to 10 sites.
If you’ve been putting off building your site because it seemed hard or expensive, this might be the sign you’ve been waiting for.
Use my referral code THECHRISTHETICS at checkout if you decide to try it out.

Thinking of starting something?
Before you get too far — secure your brand name online.
In this episode of Shortcasts, I talk about why buying your domain and setting up a business email early on can give your brand that extra edge.
I also share how much I actually pay for mine (spoiler: it’s pretty affordable).
Build Once, Earn Endlessly
In this episode of the Shortcast, I talk about how I started creating digital tools like Notion templates, automated spreadsheets, and finance trackers — all of which began as personal solutions to problems I faced in practice.
Simple guide for passive income:
1. Create your digital product — this could be Notion templates, spreadsheets, checklists, planners, or anything you wish existed when you needed it.
2. Take note of your product description and create product photos.
3. Create an account with LemonSqueezy or Gumroad to sell your digital goods.
4. Share it on your social media.
5. If you know any friends or professionals dealing with the same problems, introduce it to them too.
That’s it!
In this episode, I’m sharing some of the creative side gigs I tried over the years—from doing logo and graphic design for global communities (shoutout to my Smule fam) to selling digital tools and Notion templates for architects.
⠀⠀
These side hustles helped me stay creative, expand my network, and yeah… earn a little extra on the side too.
This mini podcast series is where I share real stories, tips, side hustle ideas, creative survival hacks, and all the things I wish someone told me earlier as an architect.
Quick, honest, and straight to the point—because who has time for an hour-long episode when a client wants the floor plan “a bit more open”
