Have you ever tried to date with God truly at the center?
In this episode, I’m sharing my story of how God told me to stop dating — not as punishment, but as protection. It was in that season that I learned what holy dating really means. From boundaries and purity to kindness and obedience, this journey taught me how to love in a way that reflects Him.
If you’re in a season of waiting, wondering, or trying to navigate dating as a Christian, this conversation will meet you right where you are.
💛 Journal Prompt:
How can I honor God not just in who I date, but in how I date?

Last time, I talked about being sick of me — frustrated with my own mess and amazed by how kind God was in response. But this time, He took it deeper.
God showed me that enjoyment is a spiritual discipline. One I’ve honestly never practiced… or even thought about that way.
In this episode, we unpack what spiritual disciplines actually are — not just prayer, fasting, or Bible study, but the overlooked ones.
We’ll talk about how to shift from striving to simply being with Him, how to practice the discipline of enjoyment, and why joy is the fruit of walking with God, not the goal.
If you’ve ever struggled to believe that God truly delights in you, this conversation will help you sit in His love — and learn to enjoy Him right back. 💛

I’ve been having some heavy conversations with the Lord lately… and what it really came down to is this — I’m sick of me. Sick of my thoughts, my attitude, my bitterness. Sick of feeling like I should be further along by now.
In this episode, we talk about what it means to wrestle with yourself and still be deeply delighted in by a Mighty God. About realizing that frustration isn’t failure, and that God’s kindness meets us right in the middle of our mess — not after we clean it up.
Let’s talk about learning to sit in His delight instead of our shame.

In Revelation 4:10, the twenty-four elders fall before God’s throne and cast their crowns down — a powerful picture.
These aren’t crowns of royalty but Stephanos crowns — symbols of victory.
In this episode, we’ll talk about what casting crowns really means, why we’re not called to envy someone else’s crown, and how laying ours down is an act of worship that echoes for eternity.

I’m rereading the Bible right now — but this time, not to study, just to delight in God. And honestly? Even just in the first 7 chapters of Genesis, the Lord has been blowing me away with the little details that point to Jesus.
From the light being separated from the darkness, to Abel’s offering, to Noah’s obedience — I want to walk you through some of the things that have been standing out to me and remind you that the Word really is alive.

Have you ever sat down with your Bible and thought, “I don’t get it”? You’re not alone. The Bible is a spiritual book, which means we can’t just read it in our own strength—we need the Holy Spirit.
In this episode, I walk you through how I personally approach Scripture: starting with prayer (2 Timothy 2:7), depending on the Spirit for understanding, and keeping Jesus at the center of it all (Colossians 1:16–17).
We’ll also talk about why reading spiritually matters (1 Corinthians 2:14) and I’ll share some of my favorite tools and resources that make studying easier.
As you listen, I want you to ask yourself:
Where do I see Jesus in this passage?
What does this show me about God’s character and desire?
Is there something He’s calling me to obey?
This isn’t about checking off a box—it’s about truly meeting God in His Word.
Did “intimacy with God” come from Scripture—or is it just Christian lingo we cling to?
In this episode, we unpack the phrase “intimacy with God”—where it really comes from, why we’ve embraced it, and what the Bible actually says.
Hint: it’s about knowing, obedience, and relational depth—not feelings or mysticism.
Join us as we trace the origins of the term in worship culture, examine its Biblical roots with Hebrew words like yada (“to know”) and sod (“secret counsel”), and ground the idea of intimacy in actions—listening, obeying, loving, walking with God.

intimacy with God, Christian buzzword, Biblical intimacy, relational with God, what Bible says intimacy with God
There are so many things I wish I knew before I started walking with Jesus. In this episode of Seek JOY, I share the lessons, mistakes, and truths that changed my faith and my life.
Some of the questions I unpack:
What does it really mean to follow Jesus daily?
Why is community and fellowship so important?
How do we deal with doubts and hard seasons of faith?
What does surrender to God actually look like?
If you wanna have a girl chat over coffee about Jesus and the truths of the Christian walk, this one’s for you.

We throw the word “personality” around a lot, but have you ever stopped to ask—how much of what I call my personality is actually how God created me, and how much of it is stuff I picked up along the way… defense mechanisms, habits, or even sin that needs refining?
In this episode, I break it down into three parts:
The part of me that really is how God designed me.
The part that isn’t truly me, but I’ve leaned into for survival or culture.
And the part that is me, but needs to be polished and sanctified.
We’ll dive into what it means to be made in God’s image (Genesis 1:27), how sin distorts but doesn’t erase that image, and how the Spirit works on things like humor, confidence, and directness so they actually bear fruit.
This isn’t about “self-help” or just saying “that’s how I am.” It’s about letting God’s Word (John 17:17, Galatians 5:22–23) test every part of us—including our personality.
God affirms who we are, but He also transforms how we are.

Spiritual maturity isn’t built on highs—it’s built on trust in the wilderness
What does it really mean to grow in spiritual maturity when you’re in a wilderness season—when God feels quiet and the emotions have faded? In this episode, we unpack how true growth is marked by obedience, not just feelings, and how God uses pruning, sacrifice, and gratitude to refine us.
We’ll talk about:
The “obedience of faith” from Romans 1:5
How to keep walking when the signs aren’t clear
Why gratitude anchors us in trials
How to live out Christian liberty without causing others to stumble (Romans 14)
If you’ve ever wondered how to stand firm and trust God when it feels silent, this conversation will encourage you to lean into His Word, embrace His refining work, and keep walking in obedience.

This episode is going to be weighty—so lean in. Hear my heart: trauma is real. Your experiences matter. The pain is valid. And still, there is a Healer who wants more for you than cycles of control and self-protection.
Today we’re talking about something that may sting a little—how we sometimes idolize trauma.
How we let the sin done to us become lord over us. How “boundaries” can sometimes become walls between us and the healing Jesus is trying to bring.
This isn’t to minimize your pain. It’s to point you to the only One who can redeem it. I’m sharing what the Lord revealed to me—and it might convict you, too.
Not to shame you. To free you.
Come with your guard down. Leave with your heart lifted.

God’s been exposing me... to me.
In this episode, I’m sharing how one quiet time with the Lord turned into a full spiritual mirror. I came for a word and left convicted. 2 Timothy 3:1-5 laid me bare — and I realized I still hold onto pride, selfishness, and ungratefulness in ways I thought I’d outgrown.
We’ll walk through:
The uncomfortable beauty of conviction
How God reveals our hearts through His Word
The subtle ways we deny God’s power with our lifestyles
Why intimacy with God requires honesty and application
The tension of grace and truth in our sanctification journey
God isn’t exposing us to shame us — He’s exposing us to heal us.
Scriptures: 2 Timothy 3:1-5 [primary], James 4:6
Listen now — don’t miss what God might be trying to show you.

“To whom much is given… much is required.”
God has been calling me into deeper waters — in prayer, in stewardship, in sacrifice. And He reminded me that the more I’ve been given — spiritually, materially, emotionally — the more He’s expecting from me.. In ways we don’t often think about.
We dive into:
Why knowledge and calling come with weight
The Greek meaning of “will be required” (it’s deeper than duty)
How God is pruning me through “mundane” ways like food, sleep, and silence
Why more given means more worship
The importance of stewardship
Scripture: Luke 12:48 & James 3:1
If you feel like God’s been asking more of you lately, this is your affirmation to His confirmation. He gives much… to those He trusts with much.

What if “fellowship” meant more than small talk after service?
In this episode, we’re digging into the real meaning of biblical fellowship — and I promise, it’s deeper (and more beautiful) than we’ve been taught.
Acts 2:42 says the early Church “devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching, to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread, and to prayer.” But the word for fellowship in the Greek is koinonia — and y’all… it doesn’t just mean hanging out. It means participation. Contribution. Shared life. Even shared goods.
We talk about:
What koinonia really means and how it challenges our Western idea of “community”
How true fellowship calls us to show up, not just scroll by
The difference between consuming Christian content and actually participating in the body of Christ
Why we can’t just “go to church” — we’re called to be the Church
This one will stretch you. But it will also remind you: you weren’t made to do life alone — and you don’t have to.
Scripture: Acts 2:42

Hey fam — in this episode, I’m opening up about something God’s been working on in me heavy: leadership. Not platform. Not perfectionism. But posture.
I used to think leadership was all pressure and performance. But lately, God’s been gently (and persistently 👀) reminding me that in the Kingdom, leadership starts on your knees.
In this episode, I’m sharing:
How God has been redeeming my view of leadership
The moment He told me: “Worship on your knees” — and why that shook me
What it looks like to lead with obedience
Posture precedes power
Scriptures that have anchored me in this journey of humility
📖 Scriptures referenced:
Luke 22:26 — “Whoever leads, like the one serving”
This is about letting God redefine leadership through surrender, silence, and worship.
If you’ve ever felt the weight of leadership, the fear of “not being enough,” or the tension between obedience and insecurity — this one’s for you.

Hey fam — today’s episode is all about clarity. On my last episode, I shared some thoughts around prayer and predestination that may have left some of y’all with questions — and you know what? That’s okay. My pastor always says clarity is kindness, so I want to take a moment to clarify what the Bible says.
We’re diving into the truth behind predestination (no, you’re not a robot), the power of specific prayer (without sliding into “name it and claim it”), and what it really means to pray boldly without losing faith when the answer is “no” or “not yet."
💡 You’ll hear:
Answers to the questions:
→ “If God already knows, why pray?”
→ “Am I selfish for asking for big things?”
→ “How do I know if I’m praying in God’s will?”
This one is part theology, part testimony, and all encouragement. God’s not afraid of your specific prayers — He invites them. You’re not just seen... you’re chosen. Let’s walk in that truth.
