Unearthed Truths: 5 Clues That FLIP Cambodia's Timeline!

I've been digging deep into Cambodia's ancient history! What I’ve discovered has truly surprised me, and led me to believe that much of what we accept about Cambodia's ancient past could be COMPLETELY WRONG. In this episode, we cover the TOP 5 CLUES that could completely rewrite Cambodia's timeline: 1) Dating techniques that don’t tell the full story; 2) Cambodia’s many overlooked pyramids; 3) the 2012 LiDAR results that revealed massive mound fields and mile-long spirals; 4) Masterful stone sculptures that point to a possible earlier and forgotten civilization, and 5) Sophisticated, precision artifacts that were uncovered across many of Cambodia’s oldest sites. Cambodia's ancient secrets are just beginning to surface - with more from my on-site research in Cambodia and Laos coming soon!Sources Cited in this Video: French School of the Far East Cambodian Photo Databasehttps://collection.efeo.fr/ws/web/app/report/les-fonds.html

Forgotten Angkor: LiDAR Reveals Hidden Technology

Angkor Wat is Cambodia’s most famous temple, but it’s just one piece of a massive ancient city and a sprawling empire that once covered parts of Cambodia, Thailand, Laos, and Vietnam. For centuries, jungles, settlements, and war hid the true scale of this civilization—until LiDAR surveys in 2012 and 2015 mapped 2,100 km², revealing an engineered landscape unlike anything from the pre-industrial world. In this episode, we’ll discuss: the 1,000 km network of elevated roads, colossal dams and canals, massive reservoirs like the 8km-long Western Baray, and the mysterious mound fields and unexplainable mile-long spiral embankments –scattered across Cambodia and with no known purpose. We’ll also explore some of the lesser-known temple complexes far from Angkor Wat, each with their own puzzles. This is my favorite episode yet!

Yemen's Hidden Megaliths Part 2: Baraqish, Awwam, Barran, and the Old Marib Dam

In the second and final episode of my new series on ancient Yemen, we will explore Yemen’s hidden megaliths. We’ll start with the ancient city of Baraqish, built on a massivemanmade mound, with its 14-meter high walls and monumental limestone. Next, we’ll explore the ancient sites of Awwam and Barran near Old Marib, both UNESCO World Heritage candidates, known for their grand pillars, intricate stonework and mysterious ibex motifs. Finally, we’ll discuss the ancient engineering masterpiece - the Old Marib Dam - a 600-meter-long structure that once sustained a lushoasis nearly twice the size of New York City. We’ll examine the evidence for a timeline that stretches far beyond the official archaeological narrative. Finally, we’ll address the critical threats to Yemen’s archaeological heritage amid ongoing conflict. You won’t want to miss this one!

Yemen's Ancient Megalithic Mysteries Part 1 – Timna’s Cyclopean Architecture

In Part 1 of my new series on ancient Yemen, we will explore the ancient city of Timna. Timna’s ruins, constructed on a 65-acre oval-shaped mound, include massive granite cyclopean walls strikingly similar to sites found in Peru, Egypt, and apan. As a key center of the Qataban Kingdom on the Incense Route, Timna thrived on frankincense and myrrh trade, yet its monumental South Gate, Temple of Athirat, and Market Square suggest Timna’s origins reach far earlier than the 4thcentury BC, possibly predating known Yemeni civilizations. Additionally, we’ll discuss the critical threats to Yemen’s archaeological heritage amid ongoing conflict, with sites like Timna at risk of loss. Join me to uncover the story of this extraordinary ancient site!

Ethiopia's Ancient Megaliths Part 3: Lalibela's Rock-Hewn Churches & Mysterious Standing Stelae

Join me for the finale of the Ancient Megaliths of Ethiopia series, where we will discuss the iconic rock-hewn churches of Lalibela—masterpieces carved directly from solid rock. This site is much more complex, and I believe substantially older, than we’re being told. I will share my theories in this episode! We’ll also venture into southern Ethiopia to explore fields of standing stones with carvings strikingly similar to those in Peru and Turkey. One even features a handbag! Could the UNESCO-listed Churches of Lalibela share a hidden connection with Axum’s obelisks and the ancient Pre-Axumite temples? Archaeologists claim a 2,000-year gap separates these sites, but do the architectural similarities and intricate designs suggest a different story? And should the official history of these sites be rewritten? Zamani Project 3D Scans: https://www.zamaniproject.org/site-ethiopia-lalibela-rock-hewn-churches.html

Uncovering Ethiopia's Ancient Megaliths Part 2: Pre-Axumite Temples and Connections to Yemen

Join me for Part 2 of this series on Ethiopia as we discuss the mysterious Pre-Axumite temples, some of the oldest structures in Ethiopia, dating back to at least 800-700 BC --- maybe earlier! Explore the Great Temple of Yeha with its precision cut limestone walls, unique Ibex carvings, and inscriptions linking it to Yemen’s ancient Sabaean civilization. We’ll also explore a massive 800 BC palace, a newly discovered altar, and connections to Axum’s obelisks and Lalibela’s rock-hewn churches. Are these sites far older than archaeologists claim? How do they relate to Yemen’s Awwam and Barran temples, 500km across the Red Sea?

Uncovering Ethiopia's Ancient Megaliths Part 1: The Mysteries of Axum

Deep in Ethiopia’s highlands, the ancient city of Axumharbors megaliths that rival the grandeur of Egypt and Peru, yet remain relatively unknown and unexplored. In the premiere episode of my series on Ethiopia’s ancient sites, I will explore the awe-inspiring Northern Stelae Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site, including Axum’s massive 500 tonne obelisk. From false doors and windows mimicking multi-story towers, to precision engineered subterraneanchambers, these structures hint at a sophisticated ancient culture. Could Axum’s history stretch far older than the 1st–4th centuries AD, as mainstream archaeology suggests? Join me as we uncover Ethiopia’s striking similarities with global megalithic sites all over the world, challenge conventionaltimelines and explore Ethiopia’s hidden past.

Forbidden Secrets of Angkor Wat – A Discussion with Derek Olsen of Megalithic Marvels

In this interview from earlier this year with Derek Olsen of @MegalithicMarvels, Derek and I discuss ancient Cambodia, and many examples of out-of-place-artifacts, LIDAR scan results and architectural styles that seem to point to an older history at Angkor Wat and the surrounding temples. I had so much fun researching and recording this episode, that I was inspired to start my own channel!

Sambor Prei Kuk: Older Than Angkor Wat - But Not For the Reasons You Think!

While exploring Cambodia's famous temples like Angkor Wat, I uncovered intriguing irregularities and surprising similarities to ancient sites worldwide. In this episode, we’ll dive deep into the "Temple in the Rich Forest," Sambor Prei Kuk, a lesser-known Cambodian UNESCO World Heritage Site, officially pre-dating Angkor Wat, with precise statues, intricate stonework, and massive earthworks like 2km-long causeways and a sophisticated water system. I’ll share insights from my travels and research, question the 7th-century origins, and propose a bold theory: could an older, advanced culture have built this site? From megalithic sandstone features to ornate lion statues, we’ll explore the mysteries of Sambor Prei Kuk and its place in Cambodia’s history. You won’t want to miss this!
