The gang are headed to Egypt this chapter when an old ally recruits them to help on a dig in the pyramids. But when there's a drought and people are turning into zombies we see Shaggy and Scooby taking the lead on this mystery when their friends are caught in the middle of the curse. The gang are headed to Africa to get some wild life on film. But upon arriving they discover the animals are starting to go missing, and even trample them! After getting shipwrecked it becomes a hunt to save Scooby from being kidnapped and figure out why all the animals are going crazy. In Chapter 32 the gang go international again! When the gang get sent to a museum exhibit by Daphnes uncle, they arrive just in time for a dino sized mystery! Fred meets one of his heroes that has caused the curse of the Gigantosaurus to wreck havoc upon the museum and it's up to him and the gang to stop it before it becomes un extinct.
In this Chapter we meet Melbourne O'Reilly who will have another appearance within this series. We get to see the gangs personalities come about more in this chapter as well, learning a bit more of what each member is into and care about.

But upon going to a rock music festival they learn about the return of the legendary Yowie-Yahoo! It's up to them to save the bands that have been kidnapped and stop these blood suckers from taking the rock out of Vampire Rock!

In Chapter 28, the gang are hanging out in their tree house one night, when suddenly Scooby finds a treasure map in his pizza. Soon after a ghost parrot starts chasing them and it's up to the gang to stop it and find the treasure! But that isn't all, the ghost of Gnarly Beard the pirate returns to claim his treasure! This is the last time we see the gang as young kids, and their adventure is a pirates life away from walking the plank.
