Rock that Relationship!
S11. Episode 10: A Lot Can Happen in 3 Months
What can change in three months time? A lot! Just ask Corey and Tracy. On May 13, Corey told Tracy to mark her calendar for August 13 because she intuitively sensed that her life would be fundamentally different. Without hesitation, she marked the date, and the two regrouped August 14 to see what had transpired over those three months. Tune in for a discussion about the physical, spiritual, and emotional changes they both have experienced in just over a short period of time, from letting go to recalibrating, to cleansing to manifesting their desires.

Listen as she shares about lessons learned, catalyst ex-partners, and meaning-making by examining what we are drawn to. Miriam shares how she felt serendipitously connected to some people, whereas others represented fleeting experiences that propelled her into her own self-understanding and life path choices. While Corey notes how difficult this process would be for her, Tracy points out that she has reached her best self and doesn’t care what other people think about her. Whether you feel you could actually embark on a “journalistic project” like this or not, you will love what Miriam has to say about her experience!

S11. Episode 8: Signs and Symbols
Do you ever see signs or symbols that just feel serendipitous? Do you follow what you see, reject them if they don’t align with logic, or use them as tools for validation for what you feel in your gut? Listen in as Corey and Tracy talk about the role of signs and symbols in their lives. Whether they show up more in the form of dreams and literal signs, like they do for Corey, or more as feelings of “knowing,” like they do for Tracy, signs and symbols are essential for both in their intuitive processes. And if that isn’t enough, you will definitely want to hear about the llama, the plane crash, and the lawyer card…all evidence of the power of signs and symbols.

S11. Episode 6: Karmic Astrology with Susan Reynolds
Did you know that Corey’s and Tracy’s astrological charts look so similar that they can get mixed up? As karmic astrologer, Susan Reynolds, points out, having several of the same signs and same houses in the same positions makes both Corey and Tracy tick in uniquely similar ways, which offers a shortcut in dealing with each other. Tune in as Susan shares about the intersection of astrology and past lives, reminding us that astrology doesn’t control us, as we have free will, but it can empower us, explain phenomena, or clarify things so we don’t have to “swim upstream.” Hear all about Tracy’s oneness with the Earth and Corey’s past life propensity to seek achievement but crave familial balance as well as how both use their energies to help, serve, and make an impact on others.

Corey shares about tackling a tricky climb during her latest rock climbing endeavor, while Tracy discusses having been convinced multiple times to “not burn it all down” after a horrible breakup. All in all, they both agree that they grew up feeling a lot like the kid’s inflatable bottom-weighted “punching” bag from their childhood, in that getting up after a setback was not an option; you just pop right back. But, how they pop right back is very different – Tracy with her all-in, head-first approach and Corey with her recalibrate and reset approach. So, whatever works best for you, go with it!

Listen as we chat with one of our favorite manifesting friends ever, Cassie Parks! We cover a lot of ground, from being truthful with ourselves in what we manifest to bridge manifestation and if there is such a thing as competing manifests. Cassie shares about the role of “being,” “choosing,” and “tolerating” in manifesting and how those behaviors influence what we actually end up manifesting. Learn about Tracy’s calling to be a healer, and Corey’s to be a teacher but how these continue to show up in their “being” space in personal relationships. Hear all about Tracy’s wounded deer syndrome, Cassie’s garage door metaphor, and Corey’s future role vetting Tracy’s partners based on how soft their skin appears. Corey talks about how letting go of the pain of her mom’s death was not her letting go of her mom, and Tracy shares about how harboring guilt only keeps us stuck. They discuss how balanced thinking, Law of Attraction, processing with a therapist, psychic, and/or astrologer, leaning on your friends, helping others, and expressing gratitude have been useful for helping them let go and move forward. S10. Episode 4: Reflecting on Stuckness with Nadine Corella
Join us as we talk with Nadine Corella, founder of the Facebook group, Lesbians of Arizona, and winner of the 2022 Dinah Shore DJ Contest. Nadine shares her story of working through the healing process after heartbreak – moving from a state of just trying to get up each day to engaging in self-reflection to helping others with their healing processes. Hear about the strategies she used to get unstuck from heartbreak, including using ChatGPT to deepen her understanding of herself. While Nadine shares what helped her get unstuck, it took a while for her to learn that the only person that can give you closure is you. Far more profound than Corey’s learning that love crystals don’t work for her to unstick herself from heartbreak, and talking to a tree seemed to go nowhere for Tracy. This episode might be more aptly called “Don’t Should on Me!” . . . even if only to make Tracy laugh. Listen in as we explore the many “shoulds” that impact stuckness. S10. Episode 2: Why We Stay Stuck
Maybe it’s fear of failure or being dreamless, or fear of judgment or losing something . . . or perhaps it’s self-limiting beliefs or feeling overwhelmed by change. Regardless, we find ways to stay stuck. Some are real, and some are imagined. Some are external, and some are self-inflicted. Some hold us back from our dreams, and some keep us from leaving good situations only to become stuck in worse ones. Tracy discusses why, despite it being a dream of hers, going to med school at her age would make her stuck – a schedule she wouldn’t like, debt, and having to work longer to pay back loans, whereas Corey points out that sometimes being stuck for a short time, like when she took her job as a junior professor, can result in even better outcomes in the long-term, like getting promoted and earning tenure. Both agreed that you have to weigh the costs. Don’t try to unstick yourself to become even more stuck! But, don’t avoid getting unstuck just because you are fearful or hesitant of what the future could be!
