It's been a whole year (we can't believe it either) but we are back! This week, we talk about politics and what it means to vote on "Kitchen Table" issues.

Our episode today will focus on the question, “How does someone defend themselves when they are called a racist?” Which is a really good question, but probably not for the reasons one might assume. How important is it for an individual to not be a racist, vs. a society recognizing the existence of racism?

Today we are looking at Chapter 5 of Robin DiAngelo’s book “Nice Racism.” The title of Chapter 5 is “The Moves of White Progressives.” But another way one could title this chapter is, “But My Friend is Black!”
